Until we happened upon Mike, we had been looking unsuccessfully for the right roofing company to re-roof our vintage mid-century modern home that's been in my family since its construction in 1957.Our roof has a 15⁰ pitch that was originally gravel covered, a style popular back when the house was built. That roof was replaced some thirty years ago with a warehouse style silver coated membrane roof, since gravel was no longer being done on residential housing and shingles not an option on such a shallow pitched roof. He fully explains the process, the quality of materials and extra steps he takes during installation.After getting several bids, offering 20 or 30 year warranties, and ranging in price from $2K to $6.5K MORE than Mike's bid, the decision to go with Mike's Roofing was an easy one to make. After shopping around for a new roof we were referred to Mike by a friend that had used him. Best thing that could have happened. He was upfront about what needed to be done. His crew was professional and showed up early on the scheduled date. They cleaned up as they went. No debris blowing into anyone’s yard or down the street. It was a pleasure working with local professionals.
