Proflame Propane

Terrible customer service. We have been with Proflame for 2 years and they put a note on their invoices that if you don't pay the whole amount they add a finance charge to carry the balance. That was fine with us and we would pay out our bill over 2-3 months, happy to pay the financing fee. We have always paid up. The owner will show up, unannounced at your door trying to collect over less than $200 when the statement already says it is financed. They will not fill tanks all the way up when the come OR fill up the wrong tank so you have to spend more $$ for them to come fill the right one. Then they send a passive-aggressive letter stating they wont come anymore unless we pay up front. I call and ask if they have any programs where we can just pay a set amount each month and then our propane bill is deducted from the balance. NOW they mention they do offer this but we don't qualify because 'we don't pay our bill' when our account is literally current. When I ask why they would not have just told us about that program 2 years ago since we would obviously have been a good candidate and this would have fostered good customer service, they had no real answer other than, they just don't advertise that it is an option. We are shopping for a new provider. Don't waste your time here.
