I cannot recommend this place enough! My sweet dog, Gumbo, ended up having a bowel blockage over the weekend. I live in Pocatello where there are no emergency vets, so finding this place was such a blessing! We were seen quickly, presented with treatment options, and communication from the providers was knowledgeable and clear. Additionally, the staff were all so kind and even sent me pictures of Gumbo while she was being hospitalized overnight, which eased my anxiety quite a bit. I would recommend Viking Veterinary Hospital again and again, and thanks to the staff for all the amazing work you do!
Everyone here was very compassionate and supportive through the process of diagnosing my cat, and eventually needing to have her euthanized. I appreciated the kindness and help with this very difficult time.
Even though our visit to Viking vet was for a sad reason, this place deserves a 10 star review. We had to put my little chihuahua down, it was the hardest decision I've ever made. But, everyone at Viking Vet was so beyond kind and sympathetic. They took good care of my sweet baby before and after. They let us have time to say goodbye and to grieve. Then they send us a card with a beautiful poem about crossing the rainbow vet. This place truly cares about animals and their owners. Highly recommend Viking if you're looking for a place that cares.
