Update 02/02/26 BEST VETERINARIAN EVER!
I moved to the Coeur d'Alene area recently. The veterinarian that I left was absolutely wonderful I had been with them for over 20 years. You couldn't ask for a better veterinarian's office staffed with caring kind doctors and vet techs. I reached out on a post and asked for recommendations and was given three different places with high votes. The first one I went to was fine. The vet was more than capable but the front desk staff was like robots. So the second one I went to was Prairie Animal Hospital and honest to goodness, it is everything my last veterinarian's office was, only more busy LOL very engaging staff and doctors....read full review
So thankful for everybody here. I took my dog in recently, her first ever vet visit and everything went so smooth. All the workers and the doctor were extremely kind and helpful, I felt confident taking my dog home after our visit here because she was in such great hands. I also really appreciate how they took their time on my dog to figure out what was wrong rather than going too fast and giving me wrong information, they called me before they were about to see her and told me shes doing great and wrapped up in a warm blanket and it made me smile so much and calmed my nerves knowing how content she was there. Staff was great, incredibly courteous to my wife and I when thinking we had to put our 14yo dog to sleep. Offered plenty of suggestions and got us in on short notice considering the circumstances. Doctor followed up with us. Will definitely be back.
