They didn't want to use our insurance, We had to insist to call the insurance to verify the coverage. They reversed but I lost hours of work as we had to speak with my insurance to verify. Insurance was surprised of this behavior

I really liked this place when the patriarch of the family was the eye doctor. However I think in the past five years it's gotten really sloppy. I don't have a lot of confidence in these guys anymore Totally random business hours. It took me three trips to actually find them open so I can pick up a pair of glasses. I understand that sometimes medical offices have sort of random hours but they are also operating a retail establishment and for it to be closed on for example, the third Thursday of the month, is just ridiculous.

Unfortunately I am taking my business elsewhere, and I suggest you consider it as well. Have heard great things about the Drs., but the staff and office policies definitely speak to the fact that they have enough clients and are not interested in adding any others. I called to make a new client apt today and they scheduled me 3 mos out, not happy, but can deal with that; asked to be on a cancelation call list because I need to get my eyes checked sooner rather than later, response was "we don't do that-we don't fill cancelations"; and third, even though I have VSP vision insurance they would NOT schedule an apt for me without my providing them with my Medical Ins! I have never had to have medical ins for an eye exam visit. A routine eye exam is covered by my Vision Ins. and not dependent upon or even claimable against medical insurance (which of course I mentioned and was told I couldn't make an apt.) Far too many hoops to jump through and no customer service-they have enough clients to not need new ones and their attitude clearly communicates that. I prefer to take my business to companies who actually wants it vs. a company whose attitude right from the beginning is that I am LUCKY to get an appointment. I really wonder if the policies were put in place by the Drs?
