Vista has been our vet for years, through two dogs. Dr. Bev is caring, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. I would never consider going anywhere else. During Covid they have policies that make us feel safe and are efficient.

This organization is very unorganized. It seems the staff do not communicate well with each other. I waited over a year to register my dog through them. I pushed them a couple times, but they never followed through. I insisted they do the registration on regular check-up-- more than a year later. I was happy it was finally done. Then, after that visit, a different staff member called me about a month later and informed me that the original paperwork was ready--18 months late! They had apparently started a new registration--in addition to the old, but they did not bother to stop the old one nor did the staff manage to communicate this with each other. My dog had been registered twice I guess. Due to COVID they will not let humans into the clinic -- regardless if one has a mask or not. My dog is really nervous in these types of places. Just taking him in--without me present--does not help him. I get that we need to be careful during the pandemic. However, my biggest problem with this way of interacting with people is the Veterinarian did not even bother to directly communicate with us. The staff took our dog in and the staff brought our dog back out about 15 mins later. We did not get to talk to the doctor, we did not get to ask questions, we are not even sure of how thoroughly the dog was checked--nor if my dog even actually saw the vet! The only thing we know is that they managed to register him twice though...

This will be a strange review. I do not use this vet for my dog's care, but I needed a city tag and they sell them. Rather than going to the city where they are sold I contacted Vista Animal Hospital and they made sure I got my tag. The person who answered the phone was personable, knowledgeable and efficient. They also practiced social distancing as I waited in my car as they brought my tag out for me. I paid over the phone. My vet is less than .5 miles from me, but it they were further away I would consider using Vista Animal Hospital for my vet.
