Many, many years ago I took several classes from David Marr, and to this day he is with me when I take out my 4x5s and other film cameras for excursions (I currently live in Santa Fe, NM). Moreover, when I get into my darkroom, there is David again refining my printing techniques - which has saved me a fortune in wasted paper and chemistry! I have taken courses here in NM, but they pale in comparison to Mr. Marr!
If you're thinking about taking photography classes, come here!! This place is amazing. David Marr does a wonderful job at explaining photography in a small class room setting. Hands on, and questions are welcomed. Great classes that are well worth the price!
I found this on Groupon and went to the class with low expectation. I have to say that I was very impressed with David's knowledge and skills he could offer to students. He was able to answer any questions students had and made the 3-hour class interesting and enjoyable. Frankley, I am shocked to find such a treasure in Boise, ID, and feel very fortunate that I made my deicion to attend his class! I would definitely recommend his classes to anyone who is interested in learning more about photography!
