just got my girl back yesterday and was so worried she'd be "different ". she's the exact same goofy, happy girl! but i can now walk her on a leash, call her back to me, have her sit and wait for release and she's not jumping all over me! she isn't scared or timid, she's excited to work and practice. weve done our routine 3 times today and shes as happy as could be and did amazingly! I couldnt be happier with the results. worth every penny to know she's going to be safe for life. highly recommend cheyenne!!!
We are so so so thankful for Mario and his team at ADU!!! I was about ready to give our pup back to the breeders cause I felt so overwhelmed with our puppy and she is super smart but also suuuuper stubborn, so training was not working. She was nipping and biting (for play) but it was always too rough and nothing we did helped that, my hand had so many cuts and scratches from it all, and so so so many of my clothes got holes and tears in them because of her mouthiness. She was also really bad about grabbing our shoes, my kids toys, literally anything she wasn’t supposed to have, she went for it. Multiple times if she got something wasn’t supposed to have in the backyard, it would take over 30+ mins to get it back from her cause she just thought the whole thing was a game, no matter what we did (distraction, not chase, chase, etc, we tried it all, nothing worked, just ended up with me in tears most the time out of frustration) We tried working on training with her ourselves but she wouldn’t listen and again, even with treats, nothing worked. She just was way stubborn. She was awful to walk and it always left me exhausted and sore (from all the tugging and pulling) We could never just sit with her and cuddle or anything unless we were actively playing with her or she had a chew that would actually keep her attention for more than 30 mins. I was so past what I felt was my breaking point and I’ve never done the puppy thing so I was definitely way over my head and just feeling like I had failed this dog and adopting her was a mistake. So this was a Hail Mary and on a wing of a prayer to take her to ADU and it was worth EVERY. LAST. PENNY!!!! She is so much more enjoyable now! She listens so much better, she will occasionally try to go for a shoe or a kids toy, but when we tell her “no” or “drop” she immediately drops it now and so it’s becoming better and better everyday with not getting into things she shouldnt, we have way more trust with her and with that she’s been able to be out a lot more and she’s so much happier too we think. walking her is so much better than it used to be, it’s so nice to be able to have be unleashed at appropriate times at the park for fetch and really early morning walks she is such a happy goofy dog and I can enjoy her so much more now, we take little naps together and cuddle and our bond is so strong. Oh! We also get compliments all the time how well behaved she is when we are out and about with her. I walks make sure to tell them it is all thanks to ADU! I will forever be grateful for Mario and his team who worked with our pup to her to be apart of the family like we wanted. Thank you so much ADU!!!
Mario is a miracle worker. I have three very large dogs (Greater Swiss -4 yo, Great Bernese - 3yo, Akbash/Swissy mix - 9 mo) and they all had a different "special trait" that needed help. I had tried everything and nothing worked until Mario! We had each dog do a two week board and train and then the boys did an additional 2 week refresher and the change is worth EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR. All three dogs are 1000% better behaved than they were originally. I can't recommend them enough.
