My husband has always been reluctant to use contractors and I can see why after dealing with this company. I am not one to only write reviews when experiencing the negative but this one is deserved. We have been more than patient. Been working with Speck since March, had to beg them to give them our business and come out and resurface our blacktop driveway. Always some excuse. Little job, they don’t care and it shows. Work finally started in April. That wasn’t the issue. It’s summer - everyone getting busy, I understand. Working with them has been a joke ever since. I hired Speck to clean and check chemical levels on our pool and was told by Mark Lester a cleaning schedule/agreement would be sent to me. Because of who built our pool Speck apparently didn’t want to do any upgrades or maintenance but I was assured that they could still do the cleaning. I was fine with this…but with zero communication they just stopped coming and we came home from a week of being out of town to a pool filled with algae. I sent him pictures on June 17 and asked if anyone had been coming out and because read receipts were turned on I could see that he’d received and viewed my messages. But he still never responded. This is our second year contracting with Speck USA for pool services. Wade has helped us select and install upgraded pool equipment that is far more quiet, energy efficient and keeps our pool sparkling better than ever before. We also signed up for their weekly pool cleaning and water testing services and they do an incredible job. Highly recommend!
