My son took his Honda van to Honda dealer in Cedar Falls and they said they needed to take out remote start as this was causing the problem and wanted 200.00 + 75.00 to diagnose it. We paid the 75.00 and said we did not want them to take the remote start out. We took the van to Farris Stereo and told them what it was doing. They spent several hours checking it out and updated some software. We asked what we owed and we agreed to take it home and see if we were still having issues. It's been over a month and the software update evidently fixed the problem. I called on a Monday to see how busy they were. My radio failed and had two days till we leave for vacation. He worked me in that day and the installer even gave me a quick lesson on how to operate the new deck. Apple and Android enabled. Great deck, price and excellent customer service. Will definitely be back.
