I have an 8-year-old shower door from Mc Gough. It’s still like new, and Mc Gough Glass tech Jeremy was able to trim down the metal and make it fit into my newly tiled stall shower. A new door wasn’t in my budget but Jeremy and Mc Gough enabled me to keep the quality door I already had for a budget-friendly labor cost. I am so appreciative, and highly recommend Mc Gough.

Josh is the best stylist/barber in town! He's also got a degree in psychology so in other words, he is a good listener and will cut your hair like you want it! His specialty is Mullets! He is know all over east side of Des Moines for this! No im kidding there! However if you did want to rock a mullet he is the best stylist/barber in town! Everyone at Sunnys salon is a cut above the rest!

Amy is amazing! She’s professional, friendly, and personable. I booked my first ever spray tan with her (to prepare for a trip to Vegas). I wasn’t sure what to expect, so I was pleasantly surprised when the whole process worked out so seamlessly. Amy is quick to respond, easy to book time with, great at explaining all of the options (and aftercare instructions), selecting the right tan option for my event and skin type, and makes me feel welcome, appreciated, and comfortable. Oh, and my tan looks great too! I’ve already booked a second appointment with her before my next trip. 10/10 would recommend.

Kim and LV are the best. I went to a fancy glitzy nail salon 5 minutes from my house and paid nearly double the price for half of the service and left feeling frustrated. You can't beat the work that Kim and LV do. I am on my feet for 14 + hours a day working, so my feet need extra attention and without a doubt they amaze me everytime by their dedication. Support local!! These 2 ladies are the best, I drive 30 minutes just to come here because I know the service is exceptional!

Great service. Lots of compliments have been received on my nails. The image is the most complimented design I’ve received, which was done by nail tech Layah. She’s currently taking time off to study for college, but highly recommend the business in general. They have been good about maintaining the strength of my natural nails. I also like the fact that their removal process is done with care so my nails are not damaged during the process of getting my nails done.

This was my first time at this salon. It’s been a while since I had a haircut and I was a little nervous. I have long, thick, curly hair and due to an illness last year, I lost a lot of hair. It literally fell out a clumps and became very dry and brittle.
I saw Kate and she was wonderful. The cut gave my hair new life. She gave me lots of advice on products and things I can do to help my hair get healthy again. It was rejuvenating and therapeutic experience. I’ll definitely be going back.

I have been coming to Giao for 5+ years now after moving back to Iowa from out of state. I found a Groupon to get highlights done and took a chance since didn’t know any hair stylists in the area and also didn’t want to spend $$$. When I booked the appointment she helped explain the Groupon and what it covered based on the length of hair - which was also outlined in the details of the Groupon. Her salon is super clean and she’s amazingly personable. I’m shocked at a couple of these google reviews because she’s taken such great care of me and my hair for years and can’t recommend her enough.

Absolute life savers every time. I won't call anyone else. When you need honesty paired with quality work with maybe a dash of good sense of humor, this is your crew. We've been in our new home for just over a month now and we LOVE it!!! Don was our 3rd builder...meaning we tried with two other companies that assured us that they could build a house we could afford. After paying for blueprints, neither house was close to the cost we were originally given. With Don, we didn't have that issue. He was up front about all the potential costs. We also got more with our house plan from Don than we would have from the other two builders AND we paid less in the long run. About 3 years ago I gave them a call and Rick came out to our house to take a look at our wasp and spider situation. Within a few weeks we saw outstanding results. In order to stay on top of our our wasp and spider problem we have Rick come out once or twice a year. He is a very knowledgeable guy with a friendly personality. I would definitely recommend him and his services to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Trung Phan for a few years now, and up until recently had only ever been seen at one dental office. When Dr. Trung moved his practice, there was no hesitation to move with him, even if it meant a slightly further drive for me. The professionals at Northpark Dental are just that; very professional. Dr. Trung is very personable and makes it a point to remember details about his patients, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. He is very thorough and makes sure to explain exactly what he is doing or planning to do, and ensures that his patients have zero discomfort during their visit. The new office in Urbandale is bright and clean and very inviting, as well as very easy to get to (right off of I-80, next to Texas Roadhouse). I would recommend Dr. Trung and his peers at Northpark Dental to anyone in need of a dentist. 5 stars, because I can't give them more. :)

Dr Jon Roed was very approachable, and attentive, and addressed my muscle stiffness on my arm and calf with hands on massage and using a massage gun and a pain relief cream. All of these gave me a lot of relief and I visited the clinic as often as my schedule allowed. Dr Roed is very easy to talk to, is a great listener, and I would recommend him and the practice very highly.

Dr. DeVries and her team are knowledgeable, compassionate, timely, and communicate well. Dr. DeVries always is patient answering questions and talking through options with me. I trust her completely. The office is upfront about pricing, is great about scheduling, and the vet techs have been awesome about helping my dog with mobility issues. I feel my dogs are in good hands.
I highly recommend this vet clinic. I have used Westside as our primary pet care for over 10 years now. Dr. Janssen has very gentle bedside manner that puts my dogs at easy. He is patient and always takes the time required to answer all my questions. His staff are also friendly and have gone out of their way to ensure that I was able to meet my pet’s needs.

I have mixed feelings about posting this review. On one hand, Malia absolutely deserves all the praise because this was hands down the BEST MASSAGE I’ve ever had! On the other hand, I’m a bit selfish and still want to be able to book an appointment with her!
Let me share all the little things that made this an exceptional experience. First, Malia has a very detailed intake form that covers everything from your preferred music, level of conversation, massage technique, and pressure. She tailors the massage exactly to your preferences. For instance, I usually don’t like to talk during a massage, but she’s so engaging. I found myself chatting away, and she would politely respond and then guide me back to focusing on my breathing and relaxation, just as I requested on the intake form.
Secondly, I’m not sure why all massage therapists haven’t invested in padding for their tables, but Malia has, and it feels like lying on a cloud. The room is dark and quiet, except for the background sound of your choice. Since she has her own space, you don’t hear conversations from other therapists and clients, which can be distracting when you’re trying to relax.
Finally, Malia has great energy. She is passionate about her work, and it shows from the moment you meet her!
I hope you enjoyed this review, but please, I beg you, leave me some appointments with her! She’s a rare find, and I don’t want to share her too much! Just kidding. Kinda.

She really works to get the knots and muscles loose. She is so encouraging about progress I have been making building some muscle. I am 70 years old. I enjoyed a beautiful facial today from Cassandra. I am going to her regularly for facials, massage, and reflexology. I have sensitive skin and Cassandra is able to blend gradients for a customized massage. My husband says I look absolutely gorgeous afterward. The problem area that I am most worried about are the dark circles under my eyes. Cassandra is helping diminish these. I truly appreciate that. Cassandra is willing to work with us here in our home state. She is a wonderful human being.
Had a couples massage done, Jill was absolutely amazing and made my boyfriend feel so comfortable and relaxed for his first massage! I initially started going to Jake on a referral due to mobility issues after a shoulder surgery. I've now been seeing him regularly for nearly three years and can truly say that he's been life-changing. I train hard and am thankful to have Jake as part of my recovery and maintenance routine. Bonus- he has a fun, interesting personality and a great sense of humor.

I saw Ariel for the first time after I had been in a cast for 6 weeks. Physical therapy did not help and may have made it worse. Then I found Ariel! I would recommend ANYONE who has surgery to follow up with her. She has made my life so much better! Not only is she amazing at her job, I also consider her a great friend.
One of the best massages I've ever had! My only suggestions would be to have the room darker (was in the middle of the day, and the blinds don't quite do the trick) and offer online booking so it is easier to get in touch to schedule.
