Raven deserves the world. I had a vague vision of how I wanted my hair to look and it came out even BETTER than I hoped. This was the first time I felt fully satisfied with a haircut and the dye! Raven was so so kind and constantly made sure I was doing okay. Since it was my first time going to this salon I didn't know how to book an appointment for what I wanted. Regardless, Raven still did the THING with my hair without having me block out the correct amount of time. Completely my fault and she didn't make me feel bad about it at all. Cassandra is the best stylist I've ever had, and I used to live in New York. It took me about 5 years to find her after moving back to the DC area, and I'll never see anyone else. My hair is brunette, very thick with a slight wave, and tends toward frizz; she has made me love my hair, and been with me from shorter than shoulder length through growing it out. My husband, who has thick, ringlet-curly hair halfway down his back also sees Cassandra at my recommendation, and he couldn't be happier with her service. Highly recommend Katie S! I was looking for a new person when my last hairdresser changed locations and was too far away. I googled best blonde highlights and Katie's name came right up. She is great! She's friendly, no nonsense, and FAST. I never feel rushed, but I love the fact that she can do an amazing job quickly. She's happy to talk if you're in the mood, but also happy to let you read or just relax if you're not.
