“Toby and Melvin did a fantastic job on our living room renovations. My husband and I spent a long time and talked to many companies before we found CPIA. After the difficulty in finding a company interested in doing our project, it was a relief when Toby and Melvin were excited to take it on! They painstakingly scraped/stripped white latex paint off our original 1930s solid oak wall library, stained and refinished it. (Other companies told us to demolish it and rebuild it with cheap materials, because it would be too much work to refinish it). Toby also worked with us to design and build a beautiful solid oak window bench that looks like it fits perfectly with the original bookcase. They communicated well with us throughout the entire process, paid attention to the details, and took their time and did high quality work. We are so happy with how it turned out! Our interactions with every staff member were always pleasant from the very first meeting to our last, and we were especially impressed with their commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
Nicholas and Jessica worked with us initially to find a design that fit within our budget, and we were thankful for Lauren's helpful design suggestions and ideas.
Once the project began, there were a couple of hiccups (specifically, in regards to the painting), but Matt Garcia went above and beyond to remedy this issue for us.
Aside from that, the project went by smoothly and we want to thank our project manager Mike for that. We also enjoyed getting to know many of the other team members throughout the duration of the project, who always seemed genuinely happy to be there and cared about the job they did. Chuck, in particular, took great pride in his work and was always happy and willing to address any questions or requests we had.

“It was time for our 29+ year old deck to be replaced. We had our old wood deck, railing, and screens removed and Trex planking and railing installed. Westbury Screenrails provide an updated replacement for the wood screen doors that were used to screen the lower deck. The ten day project started day after Labor Day and finished on schedule Monday September 18th. The workmanship was excellent. “My husband and I hired Marcia to help us redesign our kitchen and laundry room in the fall of 2021. She was professional and courteous from the first minute we met her. She walked through our entire house with us to get a feel for who we are and our style, listened closely to learn about what we wanted, and was open to our ideas and suggestions. Marcia sat down on the spot and sketched out some ideas with us present, shared her vision with us, and listened to our feedback. Her plans reflected a balance of beauty, style, and practicality that fit us to a T. We rolled with the plans, and a year later, are finally finished with the remodel. We couldn't be more pleased with how our home looks and feels now! It is open, yet the spaces are clearly defined. We have PLENTY of storage. The pantry is spacious enough that I could move all the items we previously stored in the hall closet to the kitchen. We had shelves custom built for the pantry and it's perfect. We hosted Thanksgiving for 10 people and at least at one point had 5-6 people in the kitchen. It never felt crowded. It's easy to have multiple people in the space working together without being in each other's way! I can also open and unload the dishwasher easily, putting dishes away with just a few steps. I can bring in groceries and put them away efficiently. We can find what we need without searching or having to rearrange things or get down on the floor. I can see what we have easily and don't have stale food forgotten in the back of the pantry. Our laundry room is also incredibly functional. Marcia's plan for integrating an unnecessary hallway into the space worked out beautifully. We highly recommend Marcia for your project. One of her strengths not yet mentioned is that she keeps a realistic budget in mind. What we saved in unnecessary expenses made the already modest cost of her services well worth the investment.“

“This is the 2nd radon remediation installation Jon has done for us; the 1st was a flip house and the 2nd was our home. Both jobs were well done at a reasonable price. The flip house read a bit high after the initial install; Jon added a 2nd access point at no additional charge and the problem was immediately fixed.Our home install was a bit complicated due to our 4 level split design. Jon alerted me to the potential issues with our home design, then installed a temporary system to ensure his planned system would work as desired. The test was successful and Jon installed a permanent system per his plan.Radon levels are good with both systems (<2.0). Fit and finish of the install is great. Jon also does a good job of cleanup.I'd definitely use Jon for any future needs.“
