I’ve been going to Mai for braids for over three years at this point. Not only does my hair always look amazing but she’s always so kind and makes the experience positive. After all this time she really knows what i like and makes sure everything looks good. I very highly recommend Mai’s African Hair Braiding.

Hello I was a client there first time there and I got my son hair done for his birthday coming in I arrived it was very quiet the atmosphere quickly shift when the owner spoke up about Chicago I justwant to point out that I'm not here to blast I'm a GOD fearing women of GOD disbite of the judgement there the service on my son hair was great I'm still looking forward to doing business with the owner as I spoke about helping with business expenses overall there merchandise is on fleek May you all be blessed and prosper this year of 2023 let's love our neighbor as GOD loves us Amen!!!

I called Mai African hair braiding desperate to get my hair done for a last minute event I had to go to . She was able to fit me in her schedule the next day . I was pleasantly surprised by the shop and the atmosphere. My stylist started on my hair right away and was extremely fast . I saw another client getting box braids and they were the best box braids I had ever seen . I will Definitely be getting those next time . I Highly recommend Mai African hair braiding . Price reasonable , service fast , friendly hair braiders .I left there feeling so beautiful.
