After a major flood came through and wrecked our basement and toppled our AC unit, we called German and they came out same day to assess the damage. They gave us a very reasonable quote and got us scheduled for installation the following week. Their communication was excellent and install was completed in a day.
We have found German to be the best go to place for parts or service. We had a capacitor fail on our furnace and the part was in stock and a lower price than a more distant supplier. Some time later our furnace began acting up and failing to heat properly. We had a home warranty company send a competitor to evaluate the furnace and they advised it had to be replaced. In order to get a second opinion we could trust I called German and within an hour’s time a technician arrived and did a thorough inspection and cleaned an obvious soot problem. When we reached out to German on a hot day and our AC had stopped working, they were friendly and able to send a technician our way the same day. Jake took care of basic maintenance issues, but also shared concerns about our unit keeping up over the summer as it was a 27-year-old AC unit that was past its prime. While not pushy, he just wanted to put the age of our unit and a possible replacement on our mind so we could plan for it. We asked for a quote on a replacement, and got quotes from two other local companies as well.
