Called after not having been for a while and after having gone there for over 30 years was told I was a considered a new patient and would have to "reestablish care". I don't want to go to MercyOne in general because of their denial of Birth Control and vasectomies. I will be looking for another provider and getting my medical records. Also the person I spoke with had the most flat affect voice ever. Extremely unhelpful.

Horrible customer service. Denied service to my Latino spouse on the grounds of inactive insurance (we have active bluecross/blue shield). Sent to broadlawns with no explanation as to why we were there. The emergency room doctor at broadlawns that helped us made it clear that this clinic has a tendency too DUMP patients on them. When I called them to correct their determination of our insurance policy, and find out why we were sent there I was told to calm down, that confirming insurance was not their responsibility. I was calling to set up as new patient to start going here, I have sat on the phone twice for at least 6 minutes total. And both times they acted like I was interrupting their time. If I could rate no stars I would.
