Best Spa Salons In Davenport

“I have had a couple of regular massage therapists who unfortunately moved away from the area. I made an appointment at The Healing Touch as a last minute, "I just need a massage, I feel like crap," type deal. I found The Healing Touch through a simple Google search. They had online booking, which is extremely helpful, easy, and my preferred method to make appointments.
When I arrived to the studio, it was very clean, well-decorated, quiet, professional and had a nice atmosphere. I was immediately greeted and checked in right away. I did not have to wait long before my therapist came out to meet me. During this brief wait, I took the time to really look around and try to relax. They had many different services to offer, as well as plenty of space and rooms for clients. It was very comfortable being there.

My appointment was with Laurence. Oh, man. What a guy! As he approached, he shook my hand and introduced himself. He was very kind, approachable and a great listener. He genuinely seemed to want to know where I wanted the focus of the massage to be, areas of pain and any additional requests. He, of course, walked me through the normal prep of getting a massage and welcomed any questions at any point.

During the massage, he would touch base to see how the pressure level was and if there were any concerns on my end. His communication about what he was doing and/or what he noticed about my muscles was very knowledgeable, professional, and well executed. Though he said he was newer to his career, he fooled me. I would have guessed he had been doing this for decades! Laurence did not just go through the motions with a standard, generic massage. He did a wonderful job of identifying problem areas (that I may not have even known were problems!) and working those problem areas out. He would ask a lot of questions to make sure he fully understood my physical activities to have the full picture of why I had tension or issues where I did. The massage was completely custom; I have been to many places where they say, "customized massages," but follow a very structured, "same old, same old" choreography. Laurence did not. He used varying levels of pressure where he felt appropriate to work out what he noticed. He worked very hard to make sure I felt my best coming out of that massage. It is very evident he puts his heart into what he does and genuinely likes helping others when they are not feeling their best. Laurence has a special talent for massage therapy that cannot be taught. His talent paired with the knowledge and genuine care makes him the best massage therapist I have ever had!

Sonrisa is my girl down there and she is always so sweet and inviting. They talk to you like you’ve been their friend forever and they listen to exactly what you want done. “If i could give this salon more then 5 stars i would. Came in for a spa package as a birthday present. Raquel and Lizzy were fabulous. The lady that did my mani pedi (megan i think) was wonderful as well and did a fabulous job as well but I don't like the style vs an actual nail salon. This isnt the salons fault im just picky but for a basic mani pedi with nail polish this would be a good go to place. Will most definitely come back for another massage in the future. The atmosphere is welcoming. Every staff member was absolutely friendly.“
