The Brenton Arboretum is a 148-acre not-for-profit institution dedicated to inspiring joy through the beauty and knowledge of the natural world of trees. Visitors can explore more than 2,500 trees and shrubs along miles of pedestrian trails, and a play area is suited for children of all ages. Dogs are welcome, and picnicking is allowed. The Arboretum is privately funded through memberships and donations, and it is also a rental venue for private events such as family reunions, weddings, and parties. Visitors have praised the beautiful trees, well-maintained walking trails, and the opportunity to spot various bird species, including the northern bobwhite, eastern meadowlark, and American goldfinch. The Arboretum is open to the public daily and is free to visit, offering a great outdoor experience for all seasons.
