I’ve been taking my sweet but crazy Sheepadoodle to Bounding Hound for more than 3 years and we both love it! The staff are friendly and professional, always welcoming Bear by name and greeting me as well. Bear is a very reactive pup who has clearly benefited from the ongoing training provided. Especially when I drop him off, it’s clear that he knows what’s expected of him… to sit patiently until a staff member comes to get him and to try to keep his happy excitement under control until he’s safely inside. I cannot say enough good things about this home-away-from-home for your dog! I don't have grandkids. I have granddogs---and I love them like crazy! My son and his wife got Daisy a few months ago. She had been through a lot, and had a lot of anxiety. They adopted her at the beginning of shelter-in-place during the pandemic. This was great, because it helped Daisy to spend lots of time with her pack (and extended pack!). They are both back to work and faced a huge decision--leave her home alone (which she didn't tolerate well at all) or consider a doggy day care option. We found Bounding Hounds and I can unequivocally say that you can't find a better place for your dog. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and they care about YOUR dog. The owner, Loren, is incredible. After her second day, he spent time talking to us about how to work with her at home to reinforce some of what they have been doing with her. I am a psychologist--his recommendations were so spot on. Here is the kicker--remember, this dog is a "nervous Nellie"--when we dropped her off, as soon as they opened the gate, she SPRINTED off and never looked back! She was so happy to see us--but at the same time, tried to follow Loren back inside. The fact that she is so happy there speaks VOLUMES to me. Finding a place for your dog is like taking your child to daycare---it is so hard to do. Talk to them. These guys are incredible. You won't regret it!

BoundingHound has been amazing with my high-energy and high-anxiety pup. Their training services and daycare have both been a saving grace. They genuinely care for each dog, positively reinforce good behavior and manners, and my pup comes home content and exhausted after each day spent playing and learning. I love the daily photos I receive and their online system is great!
