I love when independent stores are led by a truly talented person who knows their craft, and Journey Health Shop proved to be exactly that on a recent visit during the city's annual Kite Festival. Owner Christen Sherwood is a remarkable combination of customer service and brilliant awareness, making my visit and inquiries a positive experience. She provided exceptional guidance regarding a probiotic, and I am grateful for her advice.

Had a great experience while visiting Iowa and became kind of obsessed with one of the shops own tinctures. I got in touch with shop and they were willing to allow me to purchase more and ship them to me! Great customer service.

This place has real heart, and is warm and inviting like home. The owner is genuinely grateful when you come in, actively listens, and understands how to help based on medically documented facts, not a trending article on Huffington Post. She has a legitimate education, a wealth of experience with herbal remedies that provide tangible results, at competitive prices. And she is happy to show you how to make it at home! Now that's not a capitalist venture, but true passion for health!
