Steve and Sharon are very personable and easy to work with. They're knowledgeable and up to date on the latest tax laws and have always completed our taxes in a timely manner. We started using them about 6 years ago and now, we wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Plus, their prices are low!

It only takes 1 bad experience to change an opinion. I'd never had a problem with this business until Steve did mine and my fiance's taxes this last year. We moved from a state with local taxes. Mine were filled out wrong, I ended up fixing them. Both of our IA state returns were missing a part year resident form. Somehow my fiance's got fixed but I got a letter months later saying I owed the state more than I made in the state in 2017. Took it in to Steve and simply got a letter to mail to the State saying I was a part year resident. Still no official form. Called Sharon, who I've never had a problem with, and she knew right away what was wrong and filled out an amended return. Now I'm getting calls from the state that I owe money that I don't owe and it could take up to 6 months to process the amended return. The only answer I get is they're human and make mistakes. I can understand once, but not twice on my taxes and once on my fiance's. I also had to call back about not getting my referral bonus and was told it was taken off my fee, it wasn't. Luckily a check was mailed for that mistake. I could file my own taxes online but I pay for a service for peace of mind. I don't expect to be this inconvenienced and there's no peace of mind this year. Not sure if myself or any of my family will ever go back.
