Took my son for a haircut here over a year ago & he has not had a better haircut since. (besides our usual beautician who we don’t get to see often because she works out of Boone) This is by far the friendliest barber in Ames, he was great with my son so he works well with kiddos and preteens and he gave my son the coolest hairbrush before we left, which he still uses to this day (it’s pretty nifty!) We are going to try to visit this shop more often. i’ve been meaning to post this review for a long time, because you don’t get service like this anywhere these days. Thank you again!

I was in Iowa for a family event and wanted a traditional barbershop, not a chain to cut my hair. I did a search and found ALL CUTS HAIR CARE. As soon as I entered the door, the owner and barber greeted me as he was cutting another man's hair. He said he had another customer after the guy he was cutting and I said I'd run errands and return.Sure glad I did. Very reasonable on cost, he's been cutting hair for over 50+ years and I was extremely happy with the haircut. He listened intently to how I wanted it cut and he followed through.Highly recommend this barber!! I'll be back.He's a great conversationalist and made suggestions on things to do while I was visiting the area.

He was a very funny guy, I enjoyed my time there. He was also VERY reasonably priced. The only place I know that does walkins still. He also gives you a gift at the end for your hair!
