My mom used to go to this dentist. And I regret having her go here- not knowing what was going on. My mom has altzheimers... and I did disclose it to the staff. Her altzheimers isn't that bad yet- but she does get confused a lot. I did leave my number for them to contact me instead of my mom.- but I guess there was some sort of miscommunication going on. Anyways- I have since decided to move my mom to another dentist. The new dentist wanted more info on what the previous dentist (this place )- had done - and so I called. Long story short- the woman I spoke with was pretty rude . She actually complained and told me " you know your mom is senile and would t allow me to do the treatment..." I flat out told her - that ki know she is senile- I did tell the office she has altzheimers !. And she went on to complain about the new dentist and how they shouldnt have told me to call the other previous dentist to ask what is in their files. And she went on to say they should have contaced the insurance company . (Which is incorrect anyways). Suffice it to say- this lady (the dentist- I'm assuming- she didn't give me her name)- this dentist is the most unprofessional person I have ever have met. Reading some posted comments- I can't believe how she treats patients ... basically verbally abusing them and belittling them. What kind of patient care is this? There a lot dentists out there that will treat patients with kindness, patience and respect. (Note- I didn't even want to give a star- but ie won't let me post a zero star)

I didn't want to have to write this review but I felt it was necessary. The first and last time I went here, I arrived and was greeted by two dental assistants and they were so sweet and kind. Then when I got in for my appointment the first thing the dentist asked me was, "who sent you here" with and attitude. She was rude, mean, aggressive, verbally, mentally and physically abusive. It was only the doctor who was treating me like this. It was put down after put down as she was working on my teeth. Then she would hit my mouth every time I wouldn't be holding it open wide enough. Mind you it was open for 3hrs. I just wanted to cry because of all the trauma she put me through. While she was working on my teeth, I wasn't even numb so I was in pain the whole time. Nevertheless, I never went back and went to Milltown dental, where it has the best care, Dr. Cababat is the sweetest kindest doctor and so is the dental assistants and front desk ladies. Just a lovely team with such great care. So I recommend going to Milltown dental instead. DO NOT GO TO SUNSHINE DENTAL, ITS AWFUL!!!

DO NOT COME HERE. This practice should be shut down by the board of health. I should have listened to the reviews and considered the pictures posted online. But I wanted to support a local Filipino business.The reviews are right. This place is filthy. The bathroom is gross. There are denture models strewn everywhere, stains on walls, dirty towels on the floor to soak up liquids, etc. Not only is the place and equipment ancient but do they have to be filthy!!?The dental assistant didn’t know what to do when I asked for water. It seemed she was flummoxed by my request and had to ask permission because she left. Come to find out I couldn’t clean my face after the cleaning...read full review
