We just completed our kitchen remodel which consisted to totally gutting it and cutting back a wall. So everything is brand new from floor to ceiling and we couldn't be happier. We did a lot of research and leg work before we settled on John Cook Kitchens. Shelley, (who's a certified designer) worked with us and really listened to our concerns and wants. We already had a design in mind but wasn't sure how it would all work. She was extremely patient and detail oriented to make sure everything would fit and work together. She also gave some good suggestions and brought up things we hadn't considered. And she wasn't in the least bit pushy or trying to up-sell! Theresa, her assistant was a delight to work with and all the cabinets came in a timely fashion and the kitchen was finished ahead of schedule. When we started this venture we discovered how very little info and reviews there were on this subject in Honolulu. With that in mind we promised ourselves that when our kitchen was finished we would put "our two cents" in so it could help others in the future who are in the same position . We would not hesitate to recommend this company and will use them in the future when we embark on our bathroom remodel. So happy to learn they also do bathrooms;-)

I've dealt with these guys twice. Once I bought a set of cabinets and another time just needed a layout. They were in mid-lunch and the woman (forget your name;) got up no problem and searched until she found what I came in for. I was just at Selective Stone (lunch time still) and they could NOT have been bothered, sat, ate at their desks and acted as if my questions on price were too much PILIKIA for them to bother with. ATTITUDE! not at john Cook. They are across from U-haul warehouse in case you have trouble finding their warehouse. MAHALO:)

I renovated my kitchen with John Cook Kitchens and it turned out amazing! I had a kitchen layout in mind, but Shelly, who is a certified kitchen designer, pointed out some flaws in the layout. She worked with me to come up with a layout that fit my kitchen perfectly. The cabinets arrived exactly on time without any problems. Theresa was very professional and was there every step of the way. JCK is a little pricey, but it's worth every penny. I would definitely use John Cook Kitchens again.
