“We've had good experiences with Leeward Pediatric Dentistry! When it came to choosing a dentist for my 1.5 year old son, I was nervous, but LPD has been kind and gentle with my son, especially during his first visit.I had to fill out a medical history form in the office upon first arriving. They have a nice waiting room with fish tanks that my son just loves. They also play cute kid's movies in the waiting room. I do remember one time they were playing slow R&B jams once, which I thought was inappropriate, but the next time I visited it was decent, office-type music.We were called to the back for his cleaning. My son was very nervous and cried quite a bit even though I was holding him and they were being very gentle. The staff was so kind and accommodating of him, and I was really grateful.Our second visit went a little smoother, as my son wasn't quite as nervous. The dentist was very kind. Some of the assistants/hygienists were having a hard time using the X-Ray machine for a neighboring patient, so they were trying to reboot the computer next to us for quite some time, sort of crowding our limited space. The wait for the dentist was a LITTLE bit long, but not too bad. They are able to accommodate my requests for early-morning appointments, too!We look forward to building a positive relationship here.“

“All 3 of my girls been seeing Dr Todd Asato since their very first dental visit, at the age of 2. We use to see him in town, but we moved and were super happy to find out that they could accommodate us down the westside of the island in Kunia. Dr Asato is so patient and very polite with my girls. The staff is always so friendly. One of my daughters is so pleased with his service she is looking into becoming a dentist. He offered her, considering she's in high school that she may come to the office and shadow him and his staff. That's so awesome!!“

“I dont know why theres a bad review. Dr. Mesinas was helpful and compassionate to my mother and helped her get new dentures! My mom had Quest insurance that only allows to pull out the teeth and at the consult she gave her info to a insurance. After she got signed up, a few weeks my mom got her new dentures. Thank you doctor cause I my mother mouth not in pain from old dentures cutting it up!“
