I have gone to Kai Beauty for brows and eyeliner. Kharen is very skilled and does quality work. She takes her time during the session and makes sure to discuss the look you want. Got the hair cut style I wanted. My hair stylist was awesome and she was very professional in her work. I'm going back there for a root touch up and in the near future a Balayage coloring. It was pricey like all other salons, but it was worth my time and spending going to Muse for the first time.

Nothing less than a 5 year rating from me. He was always there when we were in dire straights with cargo that couldn't be left unattended. He throughout the years has always been there for us physically at anytime to fix the door. Dean gave us solid advice and would recommend what made sense for me from a cost and practical perspective. Not many people that own or work for businesses that care anymore. His employees follow his lead and also care. Oshiro Door is our "go to" company for commercial doors.

Impeccable communication. Our derelict neighbors upstairs in our condo building had a water leak that was pouring into our unit. Marcos and team: - was on site same day I called (even way out in Makaha) - answered my calls and texts within seconds - always let me know what was going on (I was off island while all this went down) and what I could expect for next steps - helped me navigate the insurance ridiculousness, and personally met with the adjuster to make sure there were no hiccups with the billing. Dealing with insurance can be a HUGE hassle (they're always trying to screw you) and he made it a non-issue - was quick to put the ceiling and walls back together once everything dried Total process start to finish, including getting the check from insurance, was only 2 weeks. Couldn't be happier.
Go check out Patrick, you will love your hair. He did a great job and had good conversation. I went to get healthy start treatment. Trying to start my new year off right. With protecting my hair when wearing protective styles. He gave me good recommendations. Patrick even told me that if you're a service member with alopecia that the VA will pay for your wigs. Which I had no idea and I been buying wigs out of pocket. I had an appointment and he started on my hair within 10mins of me waiting. I did a wash, deep condition, steam, trim and braid down for $120. The vibes were good. Everyone was nice and friendly. He doesn't braid tight so you don't have to worry about no headaches. So if you're tender headed you will love him even more. Patrick does it all. In addition to styling he sales hair, does lashes and makes wigs. I will be returning. Thank you Patrick. Happy New Years! Got the hair cut style I wanted. My hair stylist was awesome and she was very professional in her work. I'm going back there for a root touch up and in the near future a Balayage coloring. It was pricey like all other salons, but it was worth my time and spending going to Muse for the first time.
My appointment was for a consultation only. I was a few minutes late and Maica was still happy to see me. Appreciated that! Service: This consultation appointment turned into a full service, which I was not expecting. After we discussed my needs and concerns and showing her some pics of what I had in mind, she offered to do my hair that same day. Pleasant surprise. I guess she had time to start me before her next client. She said it would take 1.5 hours and she kept her word. Felt like it was less. This was for a cut and color. I have grown out color and about 2-3 inches of the natural gray hair. I am trying to go Au natural. My hair looked awful. Couldn't stand it. You know that ugly faded orange color with the gray hair at the top you see people walking around with. Uuuuugh!! Super ugly. Get your hair done! There is hope! I gotta admit I was quite nervous because this was the first time she would be doing my hair. Once we decided what we were going to accomplish, she got to it. She works pretty fast. The whole time I'm thinking I hope this turns out well. A friend recommended her and I learned another friend goes there too. So with that, it calmed my nerves. The moment: FABULOUS! I am so pleased with both my hair color and cut. Maica did an incredible job of blending the gray to the orange to whatever dark natural color that was underneath. The color turned out just as she explained in the consultation. Such talent. She is a color specialist and an artist. The bummer: When I got home and changed I saw there were big stains on the collar and middle back of my shirt. This must've been from the color solution dripping. Good thing it was a junkie shirt so no big deal. I had a polo shirt so I'm thinking the collar got in the way. Usually I'd wear something with a low neckline. I was not expecting to get anything done on the same day so I did not dress for it. I don't know how it was missed and nobody saw it at the salon. Maybe they thought it was already like that when I came. It was a gray polo shirt and the stains were reddish/pinkish. If you're going for a color, dress for it. I wanted to remove a half a star for this mishap, but not able to do halves. Don't let this stop you from going there. Price: The fee for the cut and color was another nice surprise. I think she charges fair. Will I be returning?? FOR SURE, and everyone who loves it there should be telling all their friends. Don't wait until someone asks where you go for hair services. Once you get that compliment, share Maica's name. I highly recommend this salon. LOGISTICS, if you're interested... Payment Method: Cash and card, including AMEX. Location: The shop is in the old Arakawas building in Waipahu. Parking: Parking in this lot gets full especially during lunch hours. Another thing to note is there can be traffic entering the parking lot because of the popular market across the street. Plan on all of that. Parking is free for now but it looks like they are constructing something (small concrete slab at the entrance?) which could hold a booth or parking payment station. Hopefully not. What to expect: Enter the building, go up the stairs. You'll see it once you get to the top. There are two doors. Enter through the one on the right. Atmosphere: It is a small place, with about 3-4 chairs for hair service. In the other room there is a station for pedicures. I saw two wash basins and two hairdryers. There is a good vibe to the salon. Nice and quaint. Maica and Ella, and I didn't get the other gals name seem very nice, and respectful. The only regret I have is that I didn't take pictures of the final product. I'm not one to take pics of everything so I didn't think of it. The staff should offer people to take pics in case they forget or don't think of it.

I have a straight hair and I'm really not after all those fancy hairstyles yet finding a hairdresser I can trust wasn't easy. I thought no one can go wrong with my haircut but believe me they can and they did. Luckily I found Emy of Golden Cut beauty salon. She rescued me from, (I still can't believe I'm saying this) my bad hair (every)day! And she's very nice too! Thanks Emy!
Have taken my daughter here a number of times over the years and have never been disappointed. Her last cut here was definitely the best so far, by Glorey. She was quick and her hair had lots of fun layers. Looks like such a grown up cut for a tween!

Fast, efficient, and beautiful. The speed probably is from their expertise which is good. But, would like to feel pampered than rushed. Showed a picture of what I wanted and got it. She was dry cutting didn't wet or damp my hair. The option for styling that i chose was straight. Lots of care was put into and she did cut some more for leveling. So, I was happy walking out of the salon. Paid $70 for haircut and eyebrows. Lots of care and patience is put onto waxing my eyebrows.

Was my first time going to Little Royalty Cuts and I loved it. It’s really cute inside and had activities for the kids while they waited for their cut. I took my boys 6,4, and 1. All three have different hair types and all 3 got different cuts. My favorite was the mohawk she did for my son. while each boy was getting cut they were able to watch kid shows/movies to entertain. I loved everything about our visit and will be back again!!

Honestly, the best manicure I've ever had in my entire life. I took a chance on this very unassuming salon a couple days before my wedding and I am so glad I did. Zulma did an incredible job on my nails. She knew exactly what I wanted and it came out perfect. Her attention to detail is NEXT LEVEL. My cuticles were the best they've ever looked in my life. We did gels with chrome powder and they were absolutely stunning. Her calm demeanor was also very soothing, which helped considering I was about to embark on one of the most important days of my life. I can't recommend her enough! Side note: while the photos are from that day, this review was written almost a month later and they are still on, with NO CHIPPING. While I know I've been slacking and I need to get it together now that the wedding is over, it proves my point that this was an absolute quality manicure.
I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Jhere, and I couldn't be happier with the results! I opted for long layers and a money piece style color and Jhere exceed my expectations in every way. Nick started in another salon in waipahu where i became one of his clients. Now that he got his own salon he was still the same person giving good friendly service. They offer quality hair products. I even bought a hair dryer from him in a cheaper price compare to other merchant. Come see him located in festival market waipahu. Plenty parking.
Toney knows how to cut and style long layers and does it fast! My time is valuable, so I appreciate his efficiency and skills. And never a long wait with an appointment.

Shinelle is the BEST! Highly highly recommend...Been going to her for years...followed her from town! Been to many eyelash boutiques and she has kept my lashes healthy for almost 10 years! She is great with lashes ...great work and she's very fast too! Only realized how fast and awesome she is when I let someone else do my refill when she was booked and never again! I have been going to studio kids for many years. I used to go to Sonia. She was awesome! Very professional, kind, and always a good listener to what I wanted done. Since she has retired I now go to Kissy her daughter. Like her mom, Kissy Does an excellent job! She has made the shop easier to make an appointment by doing it online. All I did was google the shop and was a lie to make an appointment and select the service I wanted. There is lots of free parking. I highly recommend Studio Kiss!!!

Listen, Venna did a freaking amazing job! She answered my questions & despite it being my first ever lash extension appointment- she made me feel super comfortable and educated me about what and what not to do. And I put her work to the test! Let me tell you! The day after, I flew out to Maui & we went up to Haleakalā summit when it was hella windy & the precipitation was insane. BUT these lashes were not going anywhere! We’re 1.5 weeks in & I saw maybe 2 or 3 lashes fall out so far? So retention is *chefs kiss* with my daily morning lash wash.☺️ I cannot wait for my 2 week fill! (1st pic- I day post lash appointment 2nd pic- 1.5week post last appointment)

Auntie Julie and Julian are awesome hairstylist - they also listen to their client's request, make you feel at home it's a very welcoming environment everyone is friendly. And also auntie Julie makes very good FOOD! And she make sure you will never get hungry on a long hours of treatment. And they don't charge as much like other hair salons. Love this place!!!
Highly satisfied with the work that Mia did. I had the hybrid with wispy lashes. Very calming experience and Mia was extremely sweet. Will be back for sure. Booking is easy online. Only drawback is that there are no curtains between clients so privacy is limited.

Did some line work song lyrics from my favorite artist, and then someone dear to me later. She remembered months in-between about my favorite artist, and put that music on during my next session??? Incredible!! Her work is beautiful and unmatched! I prefer minimalistic style, and even though her main is super realistic, she did the minimalistic ones perfectly! She didn’t start on either tattoo until she knew I was perfectly happy with each one, and made little tweaks here and there day of, to make sure I was happy. The actual tattoo office is beautiful, clean, homy, and comfy. Super relaxing sitting looking out the window at the rail going by while getting tattooed. Tattoos hold up nicely over time, and one free touch up afterwards. Amazing!! Thank you!!
I recently got a Hawaiian Tribal Tattoo on my forearm at HIWA Tattoo and I couldn't be more satisfied and happy with the results. I would recommend anyone thinking of getting a tattoo to HIWA. From the very beginning Jordan Wolfe was very professional and knowledgeable on Hawaiian Tattoos. He also knows the history and is very knowledgeable on the subject. Jordan is what I would call a genuine Artist. A lot of people use stencil outline and computer generated materials. Jordan does every thing by hand and creates unique artwork on your body. I wanted to get a tattoo of the Linkin Park symbol because their music has been getting me through tough times. I have always been a fan of them since Hybrid theory the album. Anyway, I was seen by Rich who is an amazing artist that brought my tattoo to justice lol He did everything by the book and even explained the process since it's been a long time since I had my first one. He was nice and I had to fill out a form waiver. There was a television playing movies and it was loud enough for you to hear. The instruments are now quiet and don't buzz like before as I remembered them. The inside was sterilized to make sure that there's no contamination. Located on the second floor upstairs. There's plenty of parking available. I would definitely come back if I wanted another tattoo done. Highly recommend. By the way, Rich told me they may move locations soon because the property is privately owned by a company.
Oscar is amazing. I asked him to design a tattoo that would represent my grandbaby and I. The session lasted 7 hours, and it was well worth it. The outcome is beautiful. I will definitely go back and have more work done.

Came in and took care of our hidden leak problem quickly and effectively. Completed the job and helped us troubleshoot other problem areas we had around the house also. Due to Covid-19 precautions he showed up in a mask and wore it for the duration of the job. Will be my go to person for any future plumbing jobs. Thanks!
1000% better service than the "big boys". I had a water heater that went out and they were able to send a tech the next day; they seem to be a smaller outfit so definitely they are more local than the other plumbers. I used them after calling the "big company that's trademarked a water drop" and they were willing in good conscience to bill me $4K for 6 hours of basic work and a new basic water heater. So I'm glad when CJ's came back with more than half off that and doing what needed to be done in a very decent amount of time! And the guys who came were all great. Will definitely call them again!

From bathroom & kitchen installations, appliance , replacing burst pipes, as well as gas stove installations. He responds immediately & has great prices. Sydney is very knowledgeable and has years of experience. He responds quickly to calls. Sydney was very explicit when he would be available. I have used Akamai Appliance for several of my properties and referred them to many clients. He is quick to diagnose the problem. He had to get parts and returned the same day. You might pay less, but you won't get the quality of service and expertise that you will with Sydney.
We wanted to change the kitchen ceiling light and fix bathroom light switch. My husband called Direct Electric Hawaii and the following day electrician came. Came on time and quick and efficiently fixed our problems and installed the light fixture. The electrician not just installed the new light he found problem in the light switches (bathroom and kitchen) and fixed them. Now lights work and it safe. If we need electrician, we'll call them again.

The completed job looks amazing and has really helped transform the exterior of our house. We received excellent service. As this was an emergency plumbing issue, a tech was on the property within 20 mins of our call. The tech was very professional and explained in detail the issues and steps taken to fix the problems.
Scott was excellent! He did a thorough inspection, explained the situation and told me my options. The other companies I inquired with just wanted to sell me their package maintenance plan. After watching the two sites for activity, Scott came back to complete the treatment. Again, very thorough. Hopefully those pests are gone forever. Thank you Scott!
I was lucky to have Jamey K. call me and gave his thoughts as he was right, luckily I managed to persuade him to instead continue with his installations, because he's excellent at what he does! I was told by a very knowledgeable person who actually saved this house as he's very helpful with anything about Termites! He just told me on Sunday night that XTermco is very good at what they're doing for my home in Kahaluu as this guy used to work for Kamaaina when they did the Sentricon installations here a few years ago as I still have that receipt when Miske was the owner. I have been seeing RoyaltyGroomers for a year now. They've been taking care of my Goldendoodle. The staff is so friendly. They make me feel like family, including my dog. They've also have given me many tips and tricks on how to take care and grooming my golden doodle and how often he should be bathed, combed, etc. They also are very fair in their pricing considering my dog is rather large. He's in very good hands with royalty groomers always excited to see them and I'm always hearing good reports with how well he behaves. Thank you royalty groomers see you again soon
When I found out that Merissa started her own dog grooming business. I was soooo excited!! She use to groom my (now passed on) Frencthon named Olaf. She took such good care of him. So when my boyfriend and I adopted a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier from HHS, I knew just who to take her too. Merissa takes really good care of our furbabies and she knows how to work with them. I love that she focuses on only 1 dog at a time and that our furbabies aren't in a kennel for countless hours. Went in to see Nan after many good reviews and they were right! Nan addressed my problem area and really took her time trying to get my knots out. Although she couldn't get them all (Considering they were deep and I hold my stress all in my shoulders), my shoulders felt so much looser and I was able to stretch my arm across my body without pain! 1 star off is because there was no relaxing music playing, so for 90 mins I had to listen to drills and hammers from the construction going on in the back. Overall Nan was an excellent masseuse and I plan to return again.

Soo let me just say this place is amazing! I received the Lomi Lomi and one that I don’t regret. It was my first time receiving this service, I usually get a deep tissue or sports massage and the Lomi Lomi combines both.
I had three people in my party and called the day of to see what the availability is and they were super accommodating.
My masseuse was Alec; he was kind and intentional. He communicated with me and asked me me how was I doing throughout the massage.
I would deff recommend this establishment and I would definitely return for additional services.
I had a very stressful month, and my back was full of knots. Mari did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable, so where I could I communicate openly. Her pressure was just right and helped my back pain go away. She was very nice and professional. I have already scheduled another appointment with her!
