I hired Glad's Landscaping & Tree Trimming Inc to cut several very large branches of a banyan tree hanging 15ft over our property. Their price was very competitive. I hired them because they were licensed and fully insured which is important for a job requiring ropes and climbing. I checked that their employees actually had workers comp in addition to other insurance. Many companies told me they were licensed and insured but this is not always the case. A lot of times the owner of the company will have worker's comp, but not the employees. There are a lot of dangers in cutting such an overwhelmingly big tree and accidents do happen.
