I am a real estate broker who has been in business for 35 years. At age 75, I am picky. In November 2019, I was seeking someone to cut back 2 mango trees growing on my Kaimuki property. They had gotten massive over the course of 80 years. I wanted a licensed arborist with a trustworthy reputation. Two of my colleagues referred me to LPN Landscaping and Tree Service. Lauro Nilo came by to assess my trees. He took 45 minutes to carefully study the tree growth and form a plan of action to them back. He warned me that one of the trees had grown so huge it was endangering the roof of my house. Mr. Nilo explained in detail what had to be done and gave me an oral quote for the work. A written quote was emailed thereafter, accompanied by a certificate of insurance for $1 million. Work began in 2 weeks. A crew of 8 arrived at 8 a.m. and immediately went to work under the supervision of Mr. Nilo. A master tree cutter skillfully cut back the branches and did not allow one branch to fall on my roof or damage my yard plants. The crew removed the debris as quickly as it was cut and chopped it up using a pulverizing machine. The entire job was done in 5 hours I was extremely pleased with the results and can truthfully say that I feel I got what I paid for. I intend to call LPN Landscaping and Tree Service again.
