Lon and his crew custom built four 8' high glass and screen pocket doors for us 20+ years ago. I believe the wood was/is andiroba, an alternative to teak. They have held up to wind, rain, sun, wet labrador retrievers, etc. admirably. Other than new varnish every 10 years they have been maintenance free and remain a focal point in our common area going out to the backyard, pool deck and marina docks.
