“There are a handful of beauty artists that have a table to service their clients in this clean and well lit office space. So far I've been to Alisha of Kahena Beauty for brows and Sissy for eyeliner- both tattoo artists. The table next to me was applying lash extensions. She works very quietly. The shop is super girly decorated with cutesy signs inside the entrance. I had a chance to look at the white cut out panels suspended from the ceiling. Very clever and creative. They are located in the row of businesses with a vape shop at the turn in. For reference they are past Jack In The Box and one turn in before Shige's. They perform their craft on tables rather than recliners.“

“Kamryn is the best! She is so professional, talented, and sweet. I have been to other brow/lip artists, and with her, I could undoubtedly tell a difference. When she worked on me, I could literally feel the precision. Not only that, but the custom color she created to redo my lip blush (done by another artist) is so beautiful! She used "high retention" pigment and left me with rich color with sharp edges, which was not my experience previously with an artist in town. The color she put on my lips healed the same. In the past, the color on my lips was put down, darkened a lot, and then healed as the final color I was looking for. So I had to walk around with a dark color on my lips that didn't suit me until they were healed. Her studio is located at the makai side of the highway across Aiea Shopping Center. There is plenty of parking. Bring a blanket or sweater and something to drink. That's what I did. I basically napped while she worked. I got up for a quick water/bathroom break in between. Otherwise, the experience was so relaxing that I could rest. I highly recommend Kamryn. She is top-tier!“

“Ever since I've moved back to Hawaii the past few years , I've been going to Jenny for my lashes. She's the only person I know that would spend 2 hours on a fill. Not because she's slow but because she's a perfectionist. She makes sure to cover every single strand of hair you got & won't ever let you leave unhappy . She's always taking classes & advancing her skills every year . I've been to lots of places that are cheaper but they stack a bunch of lashes onto 1 stand making them fall off faster & ruin your real lashes. Mines normally last 6 weeks with Jenny. If you look at all my previous reviews, you'll see I've been getting lashes done for 20 years & I'm super picky. It's not easy to get a 5 stars from me. Jenny has just moved upstairs in the same building & has her own place now. The decor is really cute & classy making you feel good as soon as you walk in. I always look forward to my appointment with her because I can fall asleep in her comfy chair after a long day at work. When I wake up & see my beautiful lashes, I automatically feel beautiful & full of confident. It's like having a therapy session. Lol . You get what you pay for ladies. Do not settle for less.“

“I am very impressed with Suzie's work on my eyeliner AND eyebrows. I went to her salon initially just to get a retouch of my permanent eyeliner that was done over 10 years ago. She is very knowledgeable and knows what works. She did wonders with my eyeliner, also adding a wing at the ends to enhance my eyes. I never realized it would make such a big difference! I love it! She also noticed that my eyebrows were done too "low" towards the inner ends by my nose area. Plus she said that it was too dark for my skin tone as well. My eyebrows were done 3 years ago during the pandemic, and I was wondering why I didn't get as many compliments as I expected at that time. Suzie looked at me and immediately said that my eyebrows made me look a bit angry or bothered. I asked her if she could "fix it" and she said "yes, I can". She was able to make the time for me to laser off the inner part of my eyebrows and tattooed over it with a lighter shade. This was my first appointment with Suzie, 2 services back-to-back at the same time. She said she was fortunate that she didn't schedule another client ahead of me so she was able to take her time. That was 2 months ago. I have gone for my retouches already on both my eyeliner and eyebrows and they are fully healed. They both look amazing! I have so many compliments from people and friends about them. I highly recommend Suzie for your permanent make-up needs. She is very professional and her salon is clean and immaculate!“
