Since 2020, I have been trying to get Van Yoshikawa to finish submitting the proper paperwork to HECO for final permission to operate. I have only received excuses or promises to get it done, but to date, nothing has been submitted to HECO. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and DCCA to no avail. Van doesn't care about his business reviews and he won''t care about you. Van charges for every little thing and for things that he has not completed. We got charges for something that he only looked at but didn't do a thing. DON'T USE Van's Electric!

Called Van on Friday to see if he could come and repair our Intermatic Timer for our Hot Water Heater. He asked if Monday would be better because my wife and I were leaving the house on Friday afternoon. We agreed that Monday would be better. I texted Van a picture of what could be the problem. He texted back on Monday and advised me he would text me when he was on his way. He showed up in 20 minutes and already was prepared with the proper part. He wasn't here long and did the repair. Does not follow up on texts (did not show up to finish job), refuses to give me a receipt for work done and paid for, charged $600 more than a competitor. As a result, I hired another electrician to finish the job which they did efficiently and effectively.
