“Sharing this on behalf of my mom. She feels so much better after working with folks at Orthosport. She looked forward to her sessions with Kevin. He would check on how she was during the sessions, and was very attentive to her needs. He was positive and encouraged her to stick with my program. Initially, Mom went to Orthosport for back pain. After her sessions, she feels better and plans to continue working out there on her own. I’m so grateful for the support of Kevin and all the staff at Orthosport. I can’t say enough good things about Orthosport and the wonderful help they have given my mom.“

“I have been coming to the Natural Wellness Center for years. It all started with a Groupon for Vitamin B12 injections. I have also tried her weight loss program, Vitamin C IV booster and purchased several products from her. She always provides recommendations for any situation you may have. I recently burned by hand and she provided some ointment to help heal and minimize scarring. Dr. Phoung Nguyen is not only an outstanding naturopathic Doctor she is an amazing person. She is so kind, thoughtful and generous just a beautiful Soul. I don't feel like I have a patient/doctor relationship she makes me feel like family. I highly recommend coming to see Dr. Phoung Nguyen she is absolutely the Best!“

CORE Sports Physical Therapy & Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapy

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unsolicited but well-deserved review for Core Sports Physical Therapy & Orthopedics (Kapolei) I don’t usually write reviews, but after being a client at Core Sports Physical Therapy in Kapolei for almost a year now—averaging 2 hours a week—I feel more than qualified to share what an amazing team Dana Fong-Reyes has built. First off, Dr. Dana Fong-Reyes is not just a top-notch physical therapist—she’s an excellent businesswoman who runs a tight, cheerful, and highly professional operation. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC, a background in Exercise Biology from UC Davis, and multiple certifications including strength training, orthopedics, yoga, and golf rehab—Dana clearly knows her stuff. But beyond her impressive credentials, what stands out is her genuine care for her clients and her strong sense of community. Speaking of team: Demario is an absolute superstar. He has helped me rehab both of my arms and my feet with incredible skill, focus, and encouragement. His expertise and positive attitude have been game changers for my recovery. What really makes Core Sports special though is the team culture. Dana and her crew are always upbeat, laughing, and clearly enjoy what they do. They go all out with holiday decorations, celebrate milestones, and somehow keep things lighthearted without ever compromising on quality care. It’s just a great environment to heal in. Scheduling is super flexible, the staff is incredibly accommodating, and the entire office has a real ohana vibe. You can feel that Dana puts her heart into this place—not just through the care they provide, but also through her youth sports scholarship program that gives back to the local community. That speaks volumes. After nearly a year of consistent visits, I can honestly say: they’re running a very good ship over there—and I’m happy to sail with them. If you’re looking for top-level physical therapy from people who are not only skilled but also kind, fun, and committed to the community, I highly recommend Core Sports Physical Therapy in Kapolei. ???“

MOVEMENT PLUS PHYSICAL THERAPY Physical Therapy

“I’ve visited Movement Plus for both physical therapy and massage therapy. I’ve recovered well from my injury so I’ve only been utilizing the massage therapy services lately. The massage therapists are great! I see Kaitlin consistently and she is always professional and responsive to my needs. She is very knowledgeable and often explains what muscle groups she is targeting so that I can refer to them later on if I experience pain in those areas between treatments. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Kaitlin if she is available.“

Yoshimoto Physical Therapy Physical Therapy

“I have just finished 6 months of PT with Dean Yoshimoto and couldn't be more satisfied. Dean first helped me several years ago and I was very happy with his services. It wasn't just the overall result of physical improvement but also the personal comfort and care that I received that made a difference. I have worked with other PT's in the past but none compared to Dean. When I fractured my ankle last summer and needed outpatient PT, I immediately only thought of Dean for treatment. Of course, he's really skilled and experienced as a therapist, identifying and explaining problem areas and expertly working on strengthening, flexibility and range of motion. Besides hands on massaging, we also did some machine and floor work. He also patiently and repeatedly showed me exercises to do on my own and helped evaluate the effectiveness of different shoes that I brought in. He also suggested and demonstrated hand-held massagers. The testimonials already speak to Dean's attributes as a highly trained experienced therapist and his thoughtful engaging style. I won't repeat but will instead pass on one anecdote about his unique compassion for his patients and his work. When my current round of treatment started, my first appointment was mostly evaluation and discussion. I was looking forward to the second appointment to get therapy really started. But the only time available was a Friday at 5:00. But I got a call that Friday afternoon that Dean's 4:00 cancelled so could I come in at 4:00 instead. Sure, I could avoid some traffic and start my weekend! When I arrived, I say to Dean something like "you must be glad that you're 4:00 cancelled. Now you don't have to stay for my 5:00 and wait until 6 to leave on a Friday night. You can go home earlier!" No, he shakes his head, "the 4:00 patient really could use therapy on her injury. I wish she didn't have to miss the appointment." Wow, I was surprised and impressed by his dedication and genuine interest in the progress and well-being of his patient! He has his priorities in order for our benefit, even on a Friday night. Dean loves what he does and is great at what he does. We are lucky to have him in our community. Thank you Dean and the Yoshimoto PT staff!“

“Business is located at Imperial Plaza 2nd floor on right of it is Fong Eyecare Vision Center which I go to. I was referred here from my friend who works at this company. My doctor's office made a request to do my physical therapy. My physical therapist Harvey did an evaluation on what I needed to work on in terms of exercises to help with my neck and shoulder. 2 physical therapy assistants looks in my file to know what exercises that I need. There is a machine which pt assistant set up so it can massage my neck for 20 minutes and heating pad under my back. While I am doing my exercises, they are helping at least 2 other people with their exercises. After I am done with my exercise, Harvey massages my neck and back. HMSA will only allow me 10 physical therapy sessions. At last session, physical therapist will do his evaluation.“

AcuTherapy Physical Therapy

“I am a huge skeptic. I question pretty much everything. BUT I give ideas/experiences/beliefs/tastes (sometimes even people) a fighting chance before I write them off. Chinese medicine being one of them. There is a lot of wisdom in ancient medicine and I am very pro-"allowing the body to heal itself" and extremely anti-"pill pushing fix me even though I live like a sloth modern medicine". So anyway...I have had acupuncture before in the past and, sadly, haven't been impressed. Until now. I saw James yesterday at Acu Therapy and I left pleasantly surprised... and satisfied. I am justa little bit of a smart ass and tend to err on the side of a cynic but he took it in stride. He was calm, kind, knowledgeable and he TAUGHT me. He didn't just take a bunch of ambiguous notes, "read my qi", thump some needles at various points on my body, turn off the lights and tell me to take a nap. He listened to what I had to say and then he took the time to speak to me. Which is actually amazing these days. He didn't try to sell me anything, he didn't try to convert me, he didn't drop a bunch of weird new-agey jargon. I am going back next week. So here it is: after chatting with James for a bit, he told me about acupuncture of the ear, showed me a diagram what points were related to what, answered my questions, etc... He also asked if I was interested in trying something called cupping. I guess "cupping" is not everyone's cup of tea - aha ha....ha. Ya so anyway I was all for trying something new and to say I am a HUGE fan of this would be an understatement. I suppose this may imply that I am slightly masochistic but I enjoyed the "discomfort" immensely and, although, it left hicky marks all over my back, I left feeling more relaxed than after a massage. Cupping is, basically, applying suction cups to certain points on your back for the purpose of pulling your skin away from your tissue to increase circulation (and energy) to your tissues/skin (and the space between). As in the opposite of Shiatsu (which is pushing down on pressure points) - this pulls up. It's now the day after, and I genuinely still feel energized - noticeably. Whether this was due to an hour of needles dangling out of my ears and what felt like a giant octopus tentacle lying on my back or due to hormones or the lunar cycle or pull of the tide or the amount of water I drank... I don't know. But bottom line, I felt good. It was a positive expenditure and experience. And that's really the whole point. PS: the office is not much to look at so don't go expecting some high class snooty experience - its a space that reflects an attitude that says it has nothing to prove and no need to sell itself... clean and practical.“

“11 Nov 2022 First visit and very impressed. The receptionist took time to have the required forms almost completely filled out to the point where pretty much all I had to do was read, date, sign, or initial all four of them. My appointment started on time and Briana was my therapist. She took the time to go over what I needed, what we were going to do, what I was going to need to do and what results I could expect. Unfortunately I've undergone physical therapy in the past, back on the mainland and this was most professional and attentive therapy I've ever received. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received from both her and Mark. Mahalo“

“If your an ATHLETE or a BIG GUY and have any type of body problem this is the man to see!!! I had gotten into a terrible car accident and it messed my back up for several months. I've seen other chiropractors for my problem but they couldn't help me. When I went to Dr Nougrey he didn't just adjust me and put my body in the right position, he also taught me different stretches and workouts to make sure that I maintain a healthy body. Super knowledgeable and an all around great guy! I also brought my mother here when she had shoulder and neck pains. Dr. Nougrey was able to adjust her and indicate exactly what bones were misaligned. She said it was one of the best adjustments she had ever had.“
