“Ive been looking for someone on the west side that does waxing services, and on a whim and after reading yelp reviews decided to come to The Hive Esthetics.

I'm so happy I came! They're in the Pearl City Business Plaza on the 4th floor. There's lots of parking so no worries there. I walked off the elevator and there were just a bunch of offices so l was a little wary. I got to their suite and opened it up to find this super clean and remodeled office! It was so beautiful, cozy, and clean inside!

I had a full Brazilian wax service done here with Bella and it was the fastest, pleasant, and most pain free service l've ever had for a delicate area. She was sweet and professional and has great technique. I highly recommend this place for your waxing needs and to take advantage of specials they have in house with packages. Trust me, you WILL come back so invest in her packages and thank me later! I already booked her for next month and am relieved I found a place to go to now!“

“Ku'i was amazing! She walked me through the process of shaping my eye brows and communicated every step with me! The environment was relaxing and calm, I even fell asleep duringthe process. “There’s a reason I have been going to Rossy for 6+ years! If I could give her 10 stars I would! Where to start?

- Rossy keeps a clean salon! After my first visit, I never went back to another salon. I can trust her with my nails, and am proud to recommend her to my friends amd family.
- Quality of quantity!!! I cannot stress this enough! Rossy takes the time to give you what you want. It isn’t about getting as many clients in and out as she can, but providing the best services. Tell her what you want and she will ensure time is set aside to make it happen.
- Price transparency! There is nothing worse than somehow leaving the salon with a $200 bill. This WILL NOT happen here. Rossy is straightforward about her prices and will tell you what cost are associated. Whether it’s a simple fill, glammed out nails, or handpainted art.
- Her pedicure services are amazing. I used to go to other salons and would always leave with my nails too short or an infection! It got to the point where I didn’t want to get pedicures because I didn’t want to leave in pain. Rossy listened to my concerns and I have never experienced those issues again.
- ✨ SELECTION ✨ When I tell you she has every polish, glitter, sticker, foil, and more! And if she doesn’t she will literally hand paint it ??? Talk about never-ending options.
- She uses quality products and is trained and experienced in her field. My nails easily last 4 weeks without lifting or chipping. I’ve seen many of her other clients have their nails last even longer!
- She won’t use or practice techniques that are bad for your nails. Again, quality quality quality! If you want short and natural nails, she’s got it. If you want long and glamourous nails, that’s right, she’s got it. I’ve gone from short to long, simple to glammed out, and I am always happy.

Above all, Rossy cares and she listens I look forward to our appointments because she has always made me feel like a friend

“Ever since I've moved back to Hawaii the past few years , I've been going to Jenny for my lashes. She's the only person I know that would spend 2 hours on a fill. Not because she's slow but because she's a perfectionist. She makes sure to cover every single strand of hair you got & won't ever let you leave unhappy . She's always taking classes & advancing her skills every year . I've been to lots of places that are cheaper but they stack a bunch of lashes onto 1 stand making them fall off faster & ruin your real lashes. Mines normally last 6 weeks with Jenny. If you look at all my previous reviews, you'll see I've been getting lashes done for 20 years & I'm super picky. It's not easy to get a 5 stars from me. Jenny has just moved upstairs in the same building & has her own place now. The decor is really cute & classy making you feel good as soon as you walk in. I always look forward to my appointment with her because I can fall asleep in her comfy chair after a long day at work. When I wake up & see my beautiful lashes, I automatically feel beautiful & full of confident. It's like having a therapy session. Lol . You get what you pay for ladies. Do not settle for less.“

“We love threading our eyebrows here!!! Yes ladies, she also does Threading!!! My skin is super sensitive when it comes to waxing and has been pulling off with the wax so we started coming to see Torie. I also notice the hairs dont grow back as quickly when we thread vs wax.“

“I've been searching for a lash artist close to home, so I got really excited when I found Lei at The Vanity Room in Pearl City! I was also looking for a lash extension set that wasn't too full or heavy since I haven't gotten them done before, and the classic set that Lei does is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Lei is super sweet, and does such a good job every time I go. She has a cute setup in Heads Up Salon, and it's really easy to schedule an appt online via IG. “First time going here and I absolutely loved it. I have tried many, MANY nail salons on Oahu and nothing comes close to the experience I’ve had here. They are so sweet and lovely— from the minute you call them to ask if they can accommodate you, they’re immediately so kind. They have a really good amount of staff which is amazing to see as some other salons do not have enough technicians to accommodate you. They were beyond busy today, all pedicure chairs filled, but they did not make us wait and sat us down immediately. They also spoke incredibly good English, which is a plus as sometimes things can inevitably get lost in translation, at no fault of theirs. Just an added pro of going here :) Salon itself is kept very clean, with them changing pedicure bags after every customer and wiping everything down immediately.

Candy, the lady who did my pedicure was not only sweet, but she was so thorough with my pedicure and meticulous with everything she did. She took her time on each step of the pedicure and really made sure to pay close attention to my cuticle area and nipped all dead skin which is something I really enjoy and look for when getting pedicures. We had such a great conversation, laughs, such a good experience. I also really liked that she wasn’t pushy about getting other services whereas some other salons can really push you to do other things like waxing, acrylics, gel, etc. there was none of that here which made me really appreciate them. I said regular polish and that was that! No push or debate about trying to get me to do gel, or trying to sell me on a more expensive pedicure package. I also really appreciated that she told my friend that it would be a better deal to do the Sugar pedi instead of the basic, ONLY because my friend had opted for a normal basic pedi and added on $5 callus removal when the Sugar pedi already comes with it, plus a sugar scrub and mint mask/hot towel for the same price. They have tons of colors to choose from— available in Gel or Regular, something for everyone.

I really enjoyed coming here today and I will definitely be back next month to redo my toes! Also, do yourself the biggest favor and ask for Candy if she’s available, she’s sweet, thorough, talkative but professional, and SOOO good at her craft!“

He takes his time, and is willing to explain the different manicure options. You can tell he truly cares for each customer and is an expert in his career.
