“I had a gift certificate but didn't get around to using it until recently. The gift certificate expired but they still honored it which was great. I scheduled a massage with my mom and was booked with Jennifer (my mom had her massage with Nicky). I cannot speak highly enough about the massage as it was honestly the best I've ever had. I've had massages from many establishments all over the world and this was really THE BEST. I was surprised I was able to receive a combination massage with Thai stretching, back walking, hot stones, oil, shiatsu etc all within a 1 hour appointment. Jennifer was really skilled at addressing the issues I had with my back and neck. From the immediate first touch she applied strong pressure in my shoulder right where it was needed. Jennifer was extremely professional and ensured if the pressure was good by asking periodically. The Thai stretching was my absolute favorite part as it incorporated great stretches after each area was worked on, relieving any tension and tightness throughout my body. I felt completely rejuvenated after my massage with Jennifer. My mom also had a great massage experience (she had gifted me the gift certificate as she's been going to Thai Issan for many years). My mom said she fell asleep during her massage because it was that good! After checking out, Jennifer also asked me if I wanted to be the practice model for her massage students which was very nice! I had the opportunity to come back a week later and receive basically 4 hours of continuous massage from her students for free - something I would gladly volunteer for again anytime. I could certainly feel the difference between my massage with Jennifer and her students in training (as they are learning at various stages), though her students still did a fine job in massage. Jennifer's techniques and years of skill however are easily felt as she demonstrated certain techniques for her students to practice on me. I was able to give good feedback to the students to help with their practice, while having a long day of free massage! What an experience! I'm very much looking forward to the next opportunity. Thai Issan is hands down one of the best massage establishments in Hawaii for it's service, combination techniques and value. I can't wait to come back again, and I would highly recommend seeing Jennifer if you can (but I'm sure all the LMTs are great). “I started going to Carrie since last year. i was sent there by my doctor for my pain management so i can get some relief of my chronic pain. From the start, Carrie took her time to understand my situation and worked out what type of massage i will be getting. From day 1, pain level between 9-10, i would get out of there with a 6, considering i was hurting from the start. “This is my first time here. I did a lot of moving yesterday and my body was in pain. I decided to find a spot in my area to get relief and found this place just down the road from where I live. I booked an appointment online 10 mins before my appointment time. Times were available after that too, but I chose to get there quick. The place is located at a decent location. As I walked in, it was a small area, I was greeted by 2 women, and asked if I wanted water, then a man came out and gave me a sheet to fill out. He showed me the way to the room and it is not like your typical nice room, it was mediocre and small with soft instrumental music, he said pls take your clothes off and lie on the massage table, I took everything off except my undies. He came into the room and asked what I want worked on, I told him my whole body hurts from moving, I said everything lol. He started to work on my neck, shoulders and upper back. He hit the spots I was hurting at and relieved my pain. Then he started going down to my lower back where I was in crucial PAIN, he felt that and released it also. He did everything else, but I was more focused on my upper and lower back. (Throughout the massage though, you can hear the sounds of the vehicles, buses and trucks passing by.) Then he used hot rocks, man did that feel good. He first started to warm his hands before he put the rocks on me. I was in heaven, no sound mattered to me but the release of the pain. After all of that, he stretched my arms out and at the end stretched out my back with my legs crossed. After the session, I met Mary and I told her how amazed I was with Lee. She said, do you want me to crack your back!? I immediately said YES PLEASE! She took me to the room and cracked my back by locking her arms with mines and using her knees, OMG, I told myself, this place knows what they’re doing. They focus on what you want. “In August 2018, my husband and I were back to my home island of Oahu, Hawaii for my dear mom's memorial service. In the midst of all the grieving and tasks, my husband with spinal stenosis and regular low back pain/sensitivity really needed a massage. He has regular massages back on the mainland, sometimes weekly and is very selective, & experienced as a massage therapy client having received massages from a number of massage therapists and practitioners. We were blessed to have found Kau'i and Mahelona Lomi via a google and Yelp search (she had top notch reviews!) & thankfully, she was available to fit us in for appointments when we called. The space including waiting area and atmosphere was serene, peaceful, relaxing, nice temperature control, hygienic and clean. Fresh clean drinking water was offered to us. Kau'i proceeded to provide my husband one of the best deep tissue massages he has ever had. I also got a great all over body massage, medium pressure. Very talented, skilled, & professional, Kau'i will tailor massage to your body's needs. It takes skill and strength to perform the kind of deep tissue massage that even makes a dent in my husband's muscle tissue! She was a kind, lovely, compassionate presence whom we also connected with in sharing some of our life journeys especially in our time of loss. She works also as a massage therapist at a top resort in the area so we were blessed she was available when we needed massages. We felt like God blessed us with massages and a healing time with Kau'i that also touched our souls. We even gave family gift certificates to get massages from her! We hope we can schedule massage with her again whenever we are back to Oahu!“

“Overall, enjoyable experience. Sarah was very accommodating with my day/time request. She's also very mindful of pressure. I like it hard & she went to town I requested deep tissue, but really liked her incorporation of some Thai massage, which is stretching out the body a bit. The space reminds me of a massage school, with partitions separating spaces. Most folks are mindful of this and keep noise to a minimum. Did not affect my experience. I plan on returning for massages in the future.“

“It doesn't get any neater or cooler than this. Best sauna in Hawaii!! The cold and hot water temperatures are just right, and the steam sauna really relieves stress. Go away from the Vegas luxury hotel spa. As with all hotel spas, even if you just use the spa without a massage, you will be overloaded. I recommend the red clay sauna. If you like bibim naengmyeon, try it.“

“My mom and I called last minute for a massage on a rainy day. They squeezed us in within the hour; I just had to make the booking online and then they moved us up to our desired time. Very accommodating! None of the licensed therapists had availability, so we booked with students instead...and we were pleasantly surprised! I had KP and my mom Marcela, and both massages were great! One of the best massages I've ever had! And because they were students, it was amazingly affordable. We wish we had gone earlier in our trip, so that we could go for another appointment!!“
