“Let me preface this with this by saying, "WOW". I was in desperate need of a color correction. The person I went to prior, completely messed up my hair. With every respect I'm sure they meant well but, holy cr*p it was awful. Anyway, I passed by on a whim and asked if she could do a color correction, Hong took a look at my hair, gave me a price and as soon as I was seated, she said, "I will do my best for you!" To which she did. That was a complete understatement. She lifted me from an awful plethora of: copper, red, orange, brown and black to a platinum blonde with a blend of white highlights. While I was seated at the shampoo station letting the conditioner sink in to my dry hair, she finished a gentleman's haircut in no more than 5mins! What the heck!? It looked great and I wish I took a photo but it just goes to show how lightning fast she is at her craft. Hong is great to just chit chat with and an even greater pleasure to work with. Trust me ladies, you don't have to go to a luxe salon to get your desired results. Been there, done that. The amenities, interior and location are completely different from that of a luxury "posh" salon, but the results are AMAZING. Just like hole in the wall restaurants have great food, Hairstyles by Hong delivers great results. Oh yeah, my Mom loved my hair so much, she booked an appointment with Hong the next day at 7am and of course her hair was transformed into something better than anticipated. Seriously, if you're reading this review, this place is for you.“
