My dog hates the vet. This vet did the best job I've ever seen trying to help train that fear away. The vet even came out after the appointment to sit around and shower my dog with some love so hopefully next time he's a little less nervous to visit.

I was going to Dr Haas and then Dr Mariko took over. My 13 year old pit bull had an emergency yesterday and when I called, they said to bring him in right away . Luckily he was fine, but I am so grateful forthe last minute accommodation. Also, the prices are very reasonable, It is actually affordable and attainable pet vet care.( No price gouging here) or unnecessary tests. I was told my 2 pits needed to be sedated before a nail trim at another place. Here, Dr Mariko said no, that they could do it without sedation. And they did, quick and easy. My dogs love going there, they are treated so well. And I feel confident bringing them in, that they will be well taken... read full review

Dr Mariko is a gem! We are so grateful to her. At a different vet on Kauai on the north shore, we were quoted a ridiculous amount of money to get some so called ‘urgent’ dental care done for our 6 year old cat, but when we went to Dr Mariko for a second opinion we are so glad we did, because not only did she say that none of that dental work was necessary, (also because we had started using an amazing product called ‘Plaque Off’ which gets rid of plaque by adding to their food) she also told us that she likes to sleep at night and there’s no way that she’s going to put our cat under, and take our money, if it’s not absolutely necessary.
