Maddy knew exactly what to do with my very fine, straight, soft hair. She cut it better than my stylist at home. How I wish she lived in Sacramento! I come to Maui once a year so I'll be guaranteed of a great cut at least that often. She's inspired me to keep looking for someone like her at home. Thank you, Maddy!!

Best hairstylist that I've ever seen on maui. I've seen more stylists then I care to admit. Maddie is awesome with all that she does. I get color, cut and extensions. She's awesome!

It is my pleasure to be able to give this review about Aloha Salon. A big thanks to one of my friends for recommending Madie at Aloha Salon. I always ask people "who does your hair" when I see what I think is a good cut. Well, when I asked her who did her hair, thankfully she shared her stylist with me. I have been looking for a great stylist for years and just have not found the right person until now. I don't think I could have found anyone this good even if I went through a hundred stylists on island. This is THE ONE. This place is in Honokowai Marketplace on the lower road inside the Times Supermarket strip mall. Located inside Happy Nails, Madie has her own little cubical to do her magic on you. I'm telling you, this lady knows how to make your hair look fantastic. She has done hair for over 34 years. She attends hair shows and online classes to keep up with current styles and color. It's very important to her to stay on the cutting edge of new information regarding her trade. I don't think I've ever had a cut and color that made me so happy before. My husband agrees. I just told her the length I wanted and said "do what you think is best for color" She toned my dark color down to lighter shades making the color less harsh. It's so true that as we age, color really makes a difference. Not only is she talented but she has a heart of gold and a wonderful light about her that shines. We had conversation that I thoroughly enjoyed for the entire 2 hours I was there. I had a cut, color and highlights and boy does she know how to do hair!! I asked her about the jewelry that is on the counter and earrings hanging on the wall. These items are for sale and made by her and her daughter. A darling and large selection of earrings and bracelets along with really cool crystal face mask hangers. These hangers attach to your mask and make it easy to keep your mask close to you for ease of taking on and off throughout the day. What is even more amazing is she said she takes the proceeds of sales of these items and donates them to two causes. She sponsors a family that is in need and also helps a friend with cancer. This lady has the Aloha Spirit that keeps this island beautiful. I highly recommend her for one of the best cut and colors you might experience on island. Her prices are in line with any reasonable salon. I truly feel blessed to have met her today. Thank you Madie so very much, I have finally found MY STYLIST.
