My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was beautiful. From the staff to the location, it provides everything you need. The entire staff is amazing and the overall place has us wanting to comeback. Perfect for couples as there are definitely less children than the Hyatt or other big names in the area.
Had a lovely experience here in November. Was quiet, enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as morning yoga. We were able to see sea turtles and monk seals on the beach nearby. We did take our 5 year old, he was the only child there so it depends what kind of experience you are looking for. Down the beach there is a great keiki beach with break wall for swimming.
Be aware it is valet parking only and there are limited food options outside of the facility that are walkable or open if you wake up early. I choose Ko’a Kea Resort because I wanted a beach front resort with a small amount of units that catered to specific needs of their clients and boy oh boy they did not disappoint. The service was was over and beyond. The grounds were immaculate. The rooms were outstanding. We stayed in the lower ground level King suite( complimentary upgrade) it felt like the ocean was literally in our backyard. I was very impressed. I will definitely return!
