The girls in the spa were lovely, the facilities mediocre and the price high. There were untold "service charges" and a forced gratuity percentage. The service itself was light touching and we were freezing cold. We were hoping to spend some time by the pool and have lunch after. The lunch options for people with dietary restrictions were limited from a small menu to begin with and was limited to the pool/beach bar. Food and drinks were expensive. I would not recommend this place for the price. I have received similar priced services ($750 CAD) in 5 star hotels, not 3 star back room jobs.

Conducting business during this virus is challenging to say the least, but a friend and I decided to treat ourselves. We needed stress relief. Carol, the spa manager, was professional and extremely cordial. We waited in the lobby outside until it was our appointment time. Our temperatures were taken and we went over the safety precautions sent to us via email and posted around the spa. Masks had to be worn throughout the massage and therapist and I washed up before starting. My 90 minute deep lomi with hot stones was administered by Hope. We went over my goals, concerns, health and preferences beforehand. It was just what I needed. Left feeling invigorated and relaxed,... read full review

I decided to splurge on a mani-pedi since I didn't have time to get it done before we left home. I thought: it's got to be better than the quick-paced places at home. I should have known better. Prices are always over-priced here, but $131.25 for a very basic manicure (she painted my cuticles) and an average pedicure. The gratuity was automatically added at 20% - I was not able to adjust it. And she automatically clicked "no receipt" (without asking me) so I didn't get a receipt. I'm not upset so much with her (she is very interesting and nice) as I am at myself. Like I said, I should have known better - not worth the $$$$
