My 14 year old pup ripped his ACL and Dr Palomino at West Maui Animal Clinic suggested we take him to see Dr McCurdy for a consultation to see if surgery was a good idea. The staff were fantastic, luckily getting us in with a last minute cancellation next day, and they were friendly and welcoming when we arrived. We had full body x-rays taken at WMAC and they were easily accessible at the SMAC through a shared online system. Very convenient. Dr McCurdy was very personable, was good at explaining in layman's terms, and gave my old boy an amazing exam. Extremely thorough and gentle he explained what he was doing as he went around my dog's whole body, checking for arthritis and any other problem areas. In all my years as a pet owner of multiple cats and dogs I have never seen a vet carry out such an involved examination. Dr McCurdy definitely knows his way around a dog's anatomy and how to fix it.We talked through the pros and cons of surgery on an old dog using the x-rays and a plastic dog knee to help me understand, he answered all my questions and I left with a couple of medicines to help our old boy, whether we do surgery or not. Now we just have a difficult decision to make!His charges are on par with WMAC and most vets on island. Yes it is expensive but worth every $ for the unconditional love you get from your pet in return. Mahalo to Dr McCurdy and all the staff who were so welcoming and helpful to my old boy.

I can’t thank enough to Dr. McCurdy and his staff, they are wonderful team.I had my 2 bunnies (Bunbun & Basil) neutered last month. They were taking good care of my buns from the start to finished.Now bunnies completely healed from the neuter, can’t wait to bond them.Thank you so much Dr. McCurdy and nurses
