Dr. Hellsen is a wonderful holistic vet. She has helped my dog, Shaka, recover quickly from a serious health crisis. She uses acupuncture and Chinese herbs and a customized diet. I can't recommend Kihei Vet Clinic enough! All of our pets have been receiving trusted & reliable services here for about eight years. I end up coming in at least once a month as we have many fur babies! The way they interact with my animals, always assures me that my babies are in the BEST hands. We have had to go through almost everything with them, from leg amputations to eye surgeries, to sicknesses, you name it! Some situations had us stressed & concerned, but Kihei Vet ALWAYS takes the best care and takes all the worry away! They do anything they can to make any process/procedure smoother for myself and for our pets. What I love most about Kihei Vet Clinic:... read full review
I can't count the number of times I've been helped by the employees at Kihei Veterinary Clinic (my dog is a doofus). They've always been very straightforward and sympathetic, laying out my options for whatever problem Max has gotten himself into this time - ranging from lacerations, porcupine quills, skunk odor, back injuries, cysts, you name it.In particular I'd like to give a shout-out to Jessica Blaney, as before she was the manager, she was a damn good vet tech - and she is the only reason my dog is alive after he decided to chug some anti-freeze.
