We took a class with Kristin to make our own wedding rings. Kristin’s mastery of metalsmithing combined with her intuition for instruction allowed us to create beautiful wedding rings without any prior experience. She knew exactly how to explain and demonstrate the various techniques we needed to learn. We were the only ones who touched the metal, beginning with cutting strips of gold and finishing with polishing the bands. It was a joy to turn a piece of precious metal into an arresting work of art imbued with precious meaning. Kristin is a wonderful teacher, and the amazing memory of crafting our rings for each other will last throughout our marriage. We highly recommend this experience to any couple because we loved learning a new skill together, but if you’re engaged and looking for the perfect rings, there is nothing more romantic than making them yourselves with Kristin’s guidance.
