Hideko from Salon Island Beauty has saved my future self from drawing eyebrows....half asleep....at 4am. I chose Salon Island Beauty (Kapolei) because of their location on the West side. Also, I was in desperate need of a brow intervention. I had faded (previous tattoo from a different artist), gray, and lifeless brows. I had to draw them in daily so sometimes they were pointy...other days they were rounded....a few times they were crooked Lol! (Funny not funny). Salon Island Beauty (Kapolei) is located near Hookele Elementary school in the community of Mehana (across from Foodland). The salon is small but very very clean. Being in the medical field, I really appreciated that there was a sterilizer machine and hospital grade antimicrobial wipes. Before tattooing, Hideko shows you the fresh needle she'll be using and takes it out of the original packaging in front of you. She even makes sure to send you home with bacitracin ointment to keep you infection free. There are many artists out there. However, if you want your brows done by someone who is experienced, patient, meticulous, and talented, see Hideko. I'll post pics in 6-8 weeks when I get them re-touched. FYI: 1st re-touch is free! Salon also offers other services like lashes and waxing . Right now Hideko is in Kapolei 2x a week so ladies (and gents) book her before she fills up!

Hideko is an absolute professional with permanent eye makeup. She takes her time with consulting her clients to ensure you receive the best service. I absolutely love how my powder ombré/ micro blading eyebrows look and can't wait for my next appointment. If I could give this place 10 STARS I would!! Went to this newly opened salon having a soft opening this month, May 2018. Please call Hideko for an appointment at (808)722-0835. I had my first appointment close to a month ago to have my brows done at their Century Center location. Now that a second one opened closer to home I scheduled my re-touch at the Kapolei location. It is in close vicinity of Ashley Furniture just off Kapolei Parkway close to a school and in a residential area. You will need to find street parking so be on the lookout for the Island Beauty sandwich board fronting the salon. Upon entering it felt like walking into the chicest spa with beautiful music, white fur chairs, white treatment tables and romantic wallpaper set off by a stunningly chandelier. Hideko checked on how my brows turned out after the first session, then marked points and measured to make sure both brows were aligned. This time she was going to microblade my brows after the numbing gel was applied. She cautioned me that I would feel more this time...so true as I felt my left hand grasping onto the table and what seemed like I penetrated the tissue paper lining. She asked if I was okay, applied more numbing gel. I had asked about the microblade tool which she showed me was new and in a sterile wrapper. It was so tiny like a pen but consisted of 17 needle like protrusions but I'd need a magnifying glass to really see. When the procedure was done she nodded approval and smiled and I was very pleased at the outcome. Hideko really is a master at her craft, I felt very confident being worked on by her.
