I've tried other places before for lash extensions and have had allergic reactions to their glue. This is the only place I trust to use good products that won't irritate my sensitive eyes. “It's been awhile since I got my eyebrows threaded. I looked on Yelp to see what places in the Honolulu area did eyebrow threading for a reasonable price. There were a few to choose from but it seemed that Aesti had the most positive reviews and number of reviews from the ones I looked at. It was about $8 cheaper than a place in kakaako I was going to try out. I had texted to see if there was an availability this month and there was one this Saturday morning. Aesti is located in the same area as Fujiyama Texas, parking lot had only a few cars when I came. Walked up the stairs, although I think there's an elevator. Opened the door and Risa came out from one of the few rooms. Inside had a couple chairs for people to sit on if they had to wait, environment was clean and chic, and there was some pop music playing in the background. As I went into the room to get my eyebrows threaded, she said that she would clean up the brows first and ask what else I wanted to do. I could tell she was being detailed on cleaning up my brows because I could hear little snips and she would wipe away the tiny hairs that she trimmed, comb it a little and then thread. She also did a little plucking too. After cleaning it up, she gave me a mirror to look at my brows and they were alot cleaner looking and had more shape. I thought maybe one side could use a tiny bit more trimming since it was thicker looking than the other brow and she did it. I also asked about other eyebrow related services that I had questions on to see if it would be right for me and she shared her insight on it. I'll be coming back to get my brows threaded from Risa. :)“

“Best manicure on island! I've gotten lots of manicures over the years and this one was hands down the best! Thanks Noelle! I'm always worried about being late to my appointments (because I get lost very easily), but Noelle actually waited outside of the salon to find me, which I thought was so nice of her. Upon entering, you will be asked to sanitize your hands and temperature checked. The salon was very clean and had plastic partitions and everyone used gloves. She had a machine that sucked up all the nail filings, which I appreciate (rather than having it fly around everywhere) and was careful with my cuticles. I basically left the shape and design up to the technician. She custom mixed a base coat gel color, hand painted stripes, and added gold foil on top. My nails usually grow super fast, but I was so surprised that it still looked great after 2 weeks. She did a great job with the manicure, so there was no lifting or chips. I have a terrible habit of picking/peeling off my gel polish, which usually leaves my nails brittle. That was not the case at all! My nails were still very healthy and strong after this manicure. “I used a Groupon to get my eyebrows done here. I'm happy with the results! I made sure to check out her website before purchasing the Groupon. After seeing the before and after pics and pricing, I bought the Groupon and made my appointment. Yun Jin responds quickly to emails through her website and she also sends a reminder text the day before your appointment with info on where to park. The price covers the initial visit and a follow up (touch up) appt. Her salon is small but clean and pleasant. This isn't my first time doing my brows. Yun Jin was very straight-forward about having to go darker than I requested to cover up the old tattoo. She also explained the difference between the pigment in my permanent tattoo vs the semi-permanent tattoo I had done with her, as well as how long it might last. During the session I appreciated that she let me know what she was doing at each step (drawing the shape in pencil for my approval, putting the numbing cream on, asked if I'm doing okay, showed that she's opening a clean needle package). After the appt I followed her aftercare instructions and the scabs came off in about a week as she stated. I love that I no longer need to do my brows in my makeup routine!
