My little sister and I went there to get new sets. They were very accommodating and friendly. They were super busy when we went but still managed to squeeze the two of us in without it hindering the quality of their work. Very professional and experienced. My sister frequents this salon and I'll be sure to pay a visit again next time I go back to visit home.

The low reviews are probably from people expecting a more luxurious spa treatment. That is not this place. The service is perfunctory but goodand the prices are reasonable. You want a no nonsense, get in get out experience? This is your salon. The staff isn't rude. They're just straight to the point. This is China Town, for locals, not Waikiki for tourists. If you expect that going in, you'll get what you want out of it.

Business is located at N Beretania and River St. It is across from Chinese Cultural Plaza. Owner has 2 rooms which has doorway to go from 1 room to another where there is hair salon and nail salon. Jean Ching had her own hair salon at 90 N King St for over 20 years and closed it. As of May 2021, Jean is renting a chair for owner of this shop, She prefers this and don't have to worry about elderly climbing up the stairs at her former building. Her language includes Cantonese, Mandairin, and English. My haircut was $14.00 which was previously $12.00. It still a good deal as compared to other places.
