I don't have much experience with chiropractic services but my achey neck and shoulders were waking me up at night so I decided to try it out. Dr. Tanaka was the only person who returned my call and surprised me by making time the very next day. Most places schedule you for weeks later. He's super nice and chill energy and genuinely concerned with your well being. The office is very homey and the equipment he uses on you are unfamiliar to me . Although nothing was painful some treatments are a bit jarring (fyi). I was open to everything he would try though. After x-rays and general adjustments and 'decompression', I did feel much better. Went to Roy Tanaka for a bodyboarding injury at waimea shorebreak that happened 15 years ago and nagging neck pain. After one session my neck is 90% better. I had no pain for a month and threw away my pain meds. This man is a miracle worker and a super nice guy. Very highly recommend you see him.

I am so glad I found Dr. Tanaka - not sure I can express my appreciation and gratitude in one paragraph! I went into my first visit having experienced a significant concussion (couldn't drive or listen to music as it was overstimulating); Dr. Tanaka had a very thorough examination and expected time frame for my healing. I had felt a lot of ambiguity and frustration around why I wasn't healing from my concussion, and after my first visit I felt in very good hands and a big weight lifted off my shoulders.I have seen many doctors over the years for various chronic health issues, and Dr. Tanaka has been one of my favorite, most reliable /trusted doctors.
