Convenient location, nice looking office. BUT, if you are trying to be seen after a car accident with no fault coverage, move along. They don't do motor vehicle accidents and you will need to either go to the ER or to Queens Island Urgent Care. I wish I had known this before I walked in yesterday and then had to walk to QIU in Kaka'ako yesterday. Would be useful information their website.
I went to Straub Urgent Care near Whole Foods in Kakaʻako a couple of days ago to have them treat a deep cat bite on my forearm. My arm was swollen, red and hot, with red streaks traveling up and down, and I was lightheaded and nauseous. I was given excellent treatment by a professional and knowledgeable team. Dr. Lee was the MD on duty and I was very impressed by her (takes a lot for a health care practitioner to impress me since I was one). I used to go to Niu Health at the Nuʻuanu YMCA for urgent care (since it is close to my house). Iʻll NEVER use them again (they might be closed permanently now, anyway...not sure).
Ive come here for urgent care a few times and the wait is literally 3 hours long no matter what time u arrive. Straub needs to open up an urgent care clinic at Pearlridge or Mililani because driving to town when your are sick is not a good thing.
