When you first walk in, Hiromi welcomes you in with her warm and friendly smile. She has the right touch, as she knows where your body needs the attention. I elected for the Retreat Package (2 hours of AMAZING body massage and a facial). It was the most relaxed I felt in a long time. I've had a few different massage therapists in the past, but they don't compare to Hiromi. Now, whenever I come to Honolulu, I will ONLY go to Spalani. Hiromi is THE BEST in the business!
After reading about Spalani in Yelp I gave it a try. Very nice! Ive been to many and the best in Tokyo - Hiromi measures up easily. Superior to what passseS as facials in town. I'm very impressed but my experience with personal services is that Japanese technicians rule for the most part. They call it omotenashi.
First off, Hiromi is a delightful, kind, and warm person- which sets the stage for an amazing experience. She moves like a pro and does it with a smile. The reflexology treatment was so relaxing that I dozed off for a while- which is not very common for me with facials. The sensations and the pleasant smell of the products she used added to the serenity of the whole thing. I am very grateful for such tender care and skilled service. I will definitely be back!
