Since Valentines 2021 -- now over a year she's the only professional I go to for waxing and recommend to all my female compadres. - Affordable prices, half price than other salons and quick, efficient & comfortable experience for my usual 10 minute session total in and out for a braz wax. - Communication by text gets back to you within the hour for appointments on a working day (Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat) sometimes even on days off... - Schedule 1-2weeks advance because she books fast and usually full on Sat with no wait list. (She's closed Sun, Mon, Wed) as of Aug 2022. - Service is clean and strict on time since a full braz wax session you can be in and out in 10 minute tops... “Giving Lena a review because it looks like no one has done so since pre-pandemic. I went to Lena in September to get my eyebrows tattooed. I was super hesitant because I saw my mom do it in the 1990s and she had an allergic reaction and looked horrible for a week. Anyway, I'm getting to the point in my life where my appearance is still important to me, but I just want to look good without putting in too much effort. Yes, I am lazy. Anyhoo Lena was quick to respond to my email inquiry about what type of brow service I should do. I was initially thinking microblading because it is less permanent and seems to be popular these days, however after consultation Lena suggested getting my eyebrows tattooed. I have sparse non-existent eyebrows. I looked totally different with makeup and without makeup, mainly because I had no eyebrows. I would go to yoga work up a sweat and come out looking like a totally different person because my brows would melt off. After getting my brows tattooed, my husband says it looks like I have makeup on all the time, that's how much of a difference it has made. Like he thought I was hot before, but now I'm even hotter because I have nice eyebrows all the time. Lena did a fabulous job. My eyebrows are symmetrical and perfectly proportioned. The process took about 1.5 hours and I felt very little pain. I went back a month later and she touched up my eyebrows to make sure they were settling in well. Highly recommend Lena! Go get your eyebrows done by her, she's truly a professional at the top of her game.“

“I purchased the laser hair removal package for full legs, underarms and full brazilian. I waited until the end of my treatment to write this review (for those who don't know, a full treatment is about 8 sessions, spaced 6-8 weeks apart, for a total of about 10 months to complete). I am very happy with my results! (Just to compare, I am a Caucasian female with somewhat thick/dark leg/body hair (results do vary depending on body hair types)). After the end of my treatments, I took a vacation to Florida and didn't have to shave the whole time, it was ah-maz-ing! I am most satisfied with my bikini area - I used to hate shaving my bikini line - I always ended up with razor burn and ingrown hairs, it was always unpleasant and most of the time, I opted to wear shorts over my swimsuits instead of dealing with that area - but not this time! I had a hairless bikini line without having to do anything. I still have some slight hair growth on my legs - but it's turned into a very fine, light hair - not the thick dark hair that I was used to and the regrowth is extremely slow. I also struggled with razor burn on my lower shins...not anymore. If I do shave my legs, it's now once every other month or so. And I purchased a maintenance package to continue laser hair removal every couple of months. They are located at Ala Moana shopping center, lower level - directly next to Starbucks and the new Foodland. I never have problems finding parking, except maybe during the holidays. Their office is very cute and clean, and the front desk staff has always been warm and welcoming to me. They always ask me how my treatments were after I'm finished and make scheduling a breeze. Now for the actual treatments. I've had several different RN's perform my treatments over the course of my laser removal journey and every nurse tech has been EXTREMELY professional and nice. Let me tell you, if you are going to get a full brazilian like me, be prepared to bare all! Other than my husband and OB - no one has seen more than these nurse techs lol! But they make you feel so comfortable and not awkward at all! I was sooo nervous at my first appointment, not sure what to expect, but my fears were immediately eased. They have all been so wonderful! As far as pain goes, I didn't experience much discomfort. Their lasers come equipped with a cooling hose that blasts cold air the same time as the laser so it makes it so you don't feel much (except cold air). The only time I did feel something was towards the bottom of my shins and by my ankles - but that's where my hair has always been the thickest and hardest to shave. That same area has always been super susceptible to razor burn and painful ingrowns so I wasn't surprised when I felt some discomfort there, but it's quick and stops hurting the instant the laser is gone. It feels like someone is snapping you with a small rubber band - quick snap and gone. I would rate it a 4/10 on the pain scale. My upper thighs and bikini area barely hurt at all. I would get all of my areas done at the same time so my treatments usually ran 30-45 minutes. The only down-side I experienced (which to me, was not enough to warrant removing a star), was that appointments did usually run late, especially in the beginning months of my treatments (not so much now, I feel like they've gotten better at scheduling/double booking). I quickly adjusted and just scheduled myself 1.5 hours to be at their office each time and bring my Kindle with me to read lol. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable laser removal experience with friendly staff and great results, check them out!“

“I have been seeing Lilian for years now for my brazilian wax and other waxing and nail services. Her salon is extremely professional, clean, and friendly. Her and her staff care about the quality of the services they provide. I came on here and was surprised to see she had reviews lower than a 5-star. This salon is simply my go-to in Kaimuki and they do their best to make their customers satisfied. I have tried other places before and am very picky so it says a lot that I have stuck with Lilian’s salon all these years :) she is wonderful and kind to everyone and so are her staff. I would truly give her a 10/5 stars if I could!! If you are hesitant about going to her salon because of any misleading reviews you have seen, go and see for yourself that this salon provides quality work.
