I have been going to Linda Sato for my hair for years, from their previous location near UH to their current location on Kaheka. Love how she cuts my hair and really appreciate how she doesn't judge when I forget to cut my hair for over a year and instead cuts my hair so it still has great shape when it grows out. She also explains my hair quirks (I have a giri giri on one side, so she switched my part to avoid weird swoops). She did scold me when I attempted to trim my sideburns during the pandemic and ended up mangling it and then shaving it all off. After her horrified reaction, she worked with me on a way to salvage the situation. lol. Yeah, I haven't tried cutting my own hair since then. The have validated parking in a private lot. Sometimes it is full and you have to find street parking but that has only happened to me once. Sometimes the attendant can't do math and miscalculates minutes, so double check and correct da math if they try to charge you over the validation period. Building is old but the salon is really clean and well kept. There's a elevator. Take the elevator closer to Kehaka Street by the tailor shop, it opens up to the corridor that leads to Hair Candy. If you take the elevators closest to the parking lot you'll have to go thru a bit of a maze.

Clinton is fantastic. My wife has patches of hair missing as a result of medication to treat her illness. Clinton selected a cut to highlight what she has and cover up and give volume to the thin areas. Wow. What a great job. Stylish, cut perfectly and hides the thin spots extremely well. A really great job. Shes so pleased. Thanks Clinton.
